RIIIIIIIIIDGE RACERRR CiB (Longbox)
Area 51 CiB (case is a little wonky but the actual inserts/manual/disc are fine so I'l prolly just change the case with another PS1 game I don't care as much about.
So yeah, Pretty good (And surprisingly valuable) finds. I'm mostly happy to finally own a game compatible with my GunCons.
EDIT: Area 51 Doesn't Work with GunCons...bah...least I can play it with a normal controller.
Wii & 360 Games (All Complete) - 8
SNES System With 1 Game & Super Scope Receiver (Not Pictured System With Hookups & 2 1st Party Controllers) - 5
Nintendo 64 With 12 Games & Memory Card (Not Pictured System With Hookups & 2 Controllers, 1 1st Party Other Not) - 20
Pac-Man Handheld - .50
The first two things were brought out when I asked about video games and were asking price, SNES is the first model. The N64 was brought out when I asked about video games and I offered 20. The Pac-Man deal was asking price and out. Also not picture is a WiiMote With A Nunchuk & Motion Plus that I got for $5 which was the only thing I got Saturday.
Since I do my weekly pick up videos on youtube I dont post many pictures on this section but this was one game I had to post here and share with the community.
From the personal collection of Dan Oliver, this is a very cool prototype that makes my year. It is playable and has some differences from the final version.

The morning of CAX I headed out to the electronics flea market to pick up some specific parts from one of the vendors who ended up telling me that she can no longer get in what I was looking for. I didn't see much else I was interested in out there but I did find something decent. These two guys who do the flea market circuit have been there a few times, trying to sell their beat to shit and overpriced video games. This flea market really isn't the place for that kind of business, it's mainly electronics salvage after all. On the table among the junk I saw a copy of Secret of Mana. I asked how much and was told $10. Incredible, I was going to buy something from this guy and it was actually going to be a good deal. There were a couple Game Boy games I was interested in as well and I asked the price. He told me he would have to ask his brother and got out his phone. RED FLAG, RED FLAG! I told him I'd pay for the other cartridge now to get it taken care of, did so, and promptly packed it away. While waiting for his brother to get back to him on his phone I started to get a bad feeling so thanked him and bailed.
On the way out there was a guy with a bunch of TI-99/4A stuff including a box of cartridges, tapes and booklets. No matter how much I tried to get his attention he just continued messing around with his unload and talking to another guy. I had an arcade show to go to that would last until 2AM so I didn't bother wasting my time.
Not many vendors of anything I was after at California Extreme. No one was there unloading their miscellaneous arcade parts and junk at "take it away" prices. My girlfriend did, however, win one of the raffle drawings. Her prize choice was a print of an awesome piece of photographic art from the 2009 show.
Not really a find but this show fills in a CAX six pack for me -
The only thing noteworthy I found this weekend was a copy of Space Channel 5 for Dreamcast for $8. The disc is all minty but I need to replace the CD case.
"Ai Oboete Imasu Ka?"
Scud: The Disposable Assassin (No Manual) - 2
Super Nintendo With Everything Needed 4 Games & Game Genie - 30
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Game of the Year Edition (Disk Only) - 3
Scud & Uncharted 2 were asking price. The SNES stuff was marked 40 total and took 30.

It might be a collectible, but I tried it in an emulator and it was pretty uncontrollable. I immediately felt the Game Boy game was RELATIVELY better (that ended up getting one Christmas as a kid, thank you Nintendo Power coupon. :P
Further disappointed I got Illusion of Gaia that Christmas because of NP and not DKC.
Of course, after actually playing the game, I realize IoG is not a game to be sad about getting.
And a good thing because IoG is probably a lot pricier than DKC now. Then again, the DKC games are among several very common games to spike in price lately.)
Got me a new TV for my retro games, and also got a Sega Mega Drive II about a week ago as well. All cables and controller are third party, though.
$1 Battletech The Crescent Hawks' Revenge (PC) with box & book. Two 3.5" disks, four 5.25" disks.
