Red face Favorite thing in the collection that isn't a game?

Everybody with a collection has some sort of thing in it that isn't exactly a game, but fits the bill in other ways. Whether its an accessory to a game or to a console, to a statue of your favorite charector, Name your favorite thing in your collection that isn't a game!

I would have to say the little bitty old-skool TV that the consoles and 8-bit computer are hooked up to is my favorite non-game thingy.

It even has the turny-knobs for the channels, UHF/VHF selection, and a flip-open panel for things like tone, hue, etc.... No rabbit ears, but I have actual rabbits for that (needless to say, they're not allowed near the cables).

That's awesome. I don't think i have ever thought of an old TV in my collection that's a cool thing to have.

Favorite thing in our collection that's not a game but is tied to being gaming related or our favorite owned item in general?
Everything in the above post is opinion unless stated otherwise.

Before I had my own TV for game systems, I used my dad's old Commodore 64 monitor. It was kinda fun playing PS1 games through that for a while. But age caught up to it and it kicked the bucket after a short time.

OFF-TOPIC EDIT: Is it just me, or is anyone else getting 503 server errors when navigating the forums? I had to try posting this twice because it dropped on me when I went to submit the post.

Picking absolute or singular favorites is never easy.
First thought was something like the Rez Trance Vibrator because it is rather unusual, and generally awesome to use.

But one of my old time favorites that I need to give recognition to is the Making of Landstalker book from Shogakukan.
Early on in my internet usage I became ware of the Landstalker Encylopedia and that became my holy grail of items to obtain.
It took me perhaps 5 or 6 years of searching before buying a copy. But during that search I became aware of so many other neat Japanese guidebooks and other supplementary game material.
The Making of Landstalker book was an accidental find and I had no idea what to expect. The pictures, diagrams, and clay models shown in the book revealed a whole level of craft which I never realized went into making a game. It was clear from playing Landstalker that it is a labor of love, seeing some of the work in progress in the "Making Of" book really enriched my appreciation all around.

I have a Nack the Weasel aka Fang the Sniper Plush (Sonic character), Sonic ball, Sonic plush and Sonic decal'd RC car. Nack is rare and the Sonic items all bring back good memories. It's hard to pick any of them over the other.

I'm a collector, but only to a certain extent.
Not as extreme as Rickstilwell though.[/quote]

Sadly, I don't have too much gaming merchandise and such. But I'm very happy with my mint PS Extreme Vol. 1, Issue 4, as it has got King's Field on the cover, and my Club Nintendo golden Wii nunchuck.

For me it's my Family BASIC, a development system for the Japanese Nintendo NES (Famicom).
