Default OoT on iQue VS Original Hardware? Differences other than language?

Although plug-n-play usually (at least for me) activates a run for the hills mentality (probably from those horrid sounding Genny plug-n-plays), i am fascinated by China's iQue. Such a cool, efficient and fully licensed way to deal with piracy over in the PRC.

My question is basically if anybody's noticed any significant differences or problems running games on the iQue vs N64 console, or is the performance fairly seamless?

I've heard that the most striking difference right off the bat is the text and voice acting being changed to Chinese (there's a couple instances where the game's VO is in english), the ability to create usernames on the console interface as well as no rumble support.

My interest also stems from the fact that most if not all iQue games are newer versions of the originals and as such apparently glitches and bugs present in the originals were ironed out / fixed in the iQue releases (in some cases).

Also, anybody run OoT on the iQue? I've heard the text / dialogue boxes scroll super fast, and that there's something weird with assigning Deku Sticks to some of the buttons.

What's your iQue experience? Notice any differences?

There is a list of differences between the versions on The Cutting Room Floor. One of the most striking differences is in stability. Because the hardware runs the game too fast, it is prone to glitches.
<Evan_G> i keep my games in an inaccessable crate where i can't play them
