PS2 Taiko drum master for 5 bucks.
Every thing but the game it self...kinda odd but I'm sure I can find the game cheap, even have the manual to the disc. Ok shape overall, not good but not bad
320gb PS3 Slim - 115 bucks

Batman Arkham Origins PS3 - Free

That is a hell of a find. Color me jelly.
Some nice finds already this year! Keep it up!
My minor find was two Playstation Move Navigation controllers bagged with a PSP Go AC adapter block (no cords) for $15. Nothing special, but I never had a navi controller. Both charged on the computer fine, but I haven't had my move camera setup for years, so haven't tested them yet.
Ironically due to my TV setup I have 3 options for connections, HDMI, Coaxial, or Composite. The composite cables run to the switch boxes and take up the only component spot on the set. But it looks fine with just the composite cables. Plus if it's a wii game I can always just play it on the Wiiu which is using HDMI to get the crisper looking graphics. I think. Hell half the time I'm just happy to figure a way to keep everything wired correctly lol
That Genesis bundle is pretty amazing. I wish games turned up like that in my area. It's really been awhile since I've found any good Genesis games like that.
Great finds, just wow.
I did have a cool find. It's not retro or anything, but I got 11 of the first amiibo's all but the princess. and I traded Marth for a Pachislo Slot Machine. I am keeping Villager since I am a huge Animal Crossing fan. I got all of those for $60 from a guy at my warehouse. Then a buddy of mine showed up with a Pit Amiibo for my late birthday present. Pretty awesome to me. Oh wait no I did get one game I mentioned it in a thread already. I got a complete Jurassic Park Genesis Operation for Xbox for $60 on ebay. It was to replace my damaged and unplayable copy. My same friend told me I might be able to sell just the case and manual from my old copy and make most of it back. I love that game, I have spent at least 15 hours on it so far.
@DK1105: That was the plan all along. I already had complete copies of a few of the higher end titles like Castlevania: Bloodlines and Gunstar Heroes, and I was also able to upgrade titles such as Splatterhouse 2 & 3 and Contra: Hard Corps to complete copies. I was fortunate enough to actually turn a nice profit on this lot while adding a major portion of the Genesis library to my collection for free.
@Gameguy: I can definitely relate to the lack of quality Genesis titles in the wild. Prior to this group the only Genesis game I have added to my collection in the past year was Soldier of Fortune. I was home for the holidays when I found this lot and luckily I had decided to stay in town for New Years for the first time in three years.
Oddly enough that missing copy of taiko drum master from my above post showed up at a different good will than the one I found the controller box and everything else at. So with the game and case I have an o.k.condition complete taiko drum master for ps2, game was 4 bucks, the box, controller, ect was 3. Hours clan it up a bit
I missed just one card in the Game Boy trading card set. I remember those. They came in a Game Boy-shaped pack of gum in like 1993.
(I remember because I have them right next to my incomplete Nintendo Power trading card set.)
I imagine the Game Gear was another of the same.
I remember the game tips on those cards were pretty stupid. Like for Metroid II "try to save with full health and missiles so you'll be ready for the next attempt." :P
Looking the Game Gear cards "... 14 cards... representing 4 different games..." I see 5 games right there.
"Ai Oboete Imasu Ka?"
Believe it or not that wasn't the entire group that was donated. There was actually over 30 more games in the lot, the majority of them being great titles also, but they were all doubles for me that weren't worth the trouble of trying to flip. Based on their pristine condition I would say that they were most likely adult owned. I'm still amazed that these didn't end up on the Goodwill auction site instead of the children's VHS section where I found them.
Maybe the sort person that day thought brightly-colored cardboard boxes = kids' videos?
Stranger things have happened.
I picked up Marvel vs. Capcom 2 (Dreamcast CIB US version) for $20 over the weekend. This will replace the disc-only copy I got at a yard sale several years ago.
