I basically screamed like a little girl when the E3 announcement was made, I'm honestly shocked I didn't spend an ill advised grand on some of the other crazy collectible packages they were offering. I completely understand people being hesitant to do it though.

So, they're continuing to accept donations for the game development.
The attitude among those who donated during the Kickstarter (towards late backers being allowed to receive rewards, which apparently they aren't) ranges is between "NO! Them's MY toys!" and "don't care 'cause I'm getting my rewards".
For the rewards, by capsule toys, are we talking the same kind of capsule toys that come from those dollar machines? Can't spare more of those, Sega? :P But whatever. People who donate that much are probably concerned with the game funding than a cheap toy.
But if we're talking not getting a copy of THE GAME ITSELF as part of a donation (at an appropriate level), that's pretty low. "Gee, thanks for funding us making the game. We hope you'll pay again to play the game when it's finished."
