"Game programmers are generally lazy individuals. That's right. It's true. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Since the dawn of computer games, game programmers have looked for shortcuts to coolness." Kurt Arnlund - Game programmer for Activision, Accolade...
Celerystalker - your guess is correct for Quiz and Dragons... so how exactly do you get that alternate version? I played it on CCC Volume 2 (PS2 version) and it was general trivia.
jb142 - You've got #8 correct but not #9. Think about what you learn in the sewers, and what floppy disk Roger actually acquires later in the game.
Then the only other option would be Space Quest X: Latex Babes of Estros
I just assumed XII because that's where IV starts out.

It's in the Extras menu. I don't believe it had to be unlocked, but I'll slap it in when I get a chance and confirm.
Edit:
Yep, on the main menu, highlight "Extras." You'll see that if you press circle, it will launch "Capcom Quiz," which is a modified version of Quiz & Dragonz that replaces the original question set with all new questions about Capcom video games, their designers, etc.

Umm.... we seem to be having some communication difficulties here.
It's not a time period you visit--those themselves exist only because this game's floppies were found, according to this hologram dude in the sewer. And again, you get this game's disk as an in-game item. You don't ever get an SQ disk in-game, but you do get a game from ANOTHER Sierra franchise.
Derp...It's Leisure Suit Larry 4 (wasn't there multiple subtitles?)..haha
The clue completely threw me off since the events in XII ARE what started the game. But you're right, Leisure Suit Larry 4 is the obvious answer.

Sometimes LSL4 is given the subtitle "The Missing Floppies."
I do love how that game became such an in-joke at Sierra to the point where even boxed collections of the LSL games joke about it.
"People demanded that we never make an LSL4... so we skipped it and made part five instead!"
Okay, so.... after this round I'll let someone else come up with the clues.
#10 - Interesting how this green-suited dude looks just like that blue dude and that yellow dude, but enough with his cryptic statements, let's just fight already!
#11 - One of those lapses of Game Logic you just have to accept: That this spaceship can take multiple hits during the first-person space battle-and-exploration segments but dies in one hit during the side-scrolling shmup segments! (Since there might be mutliple games like this, I'm gonna narrow it down by saying its an NES game).
#12 - Interesting how the guy with "Ax" in his name... uses a sword. Maybe they meant to give his name to the dwarf?
Gonna do an extra so the next guy won't have to begin on an unlucky number:
#13 - Really, don't bump into those stone things if you don't want a giant dog head to kill you. Also staying out late isn't good not because you get tired, but because sometimes a constellation randomly decides to kick your ass.
Also we never figured out what RP2A03's game was...
#11 Destination Earthstar
#12 Golden Axe
#13 Drakkhen

Okay, honestly surprised I'm not the only person who has played Destination Earthstar.
Celerystalker got those three... so whoever gets #10 gets to come up with the next three clues!
#10 Mortal Kombat (2 probably)?
jperryss is correct! Your prize... you get to come up with the next questions!
Ha! OK.
#14 - They say that fat floats in water. Well, after seeing plump main character of this game, I'd say that fat doesn't float, and neither do pooping birds, anthropomorphic turtles, or skating rockets.
#15 - I'm going as fast as I can but this other jerk is flipping and spinning all over the place and yet still beats me to the finish line. And that scrolling background sure is making me sick.
Is #15 an installment in the Sonic the Hedgehog series? I recall Sonic CD having a race, tho you're supposed to win that one so I'm not sure it fits the "he always beats me" part of the clue.
Nope, but amusingly enough there is a Sonic joke in the game.

Is #15 Uniracers?
Aw crud I should've gotten that one since I've played a lot of Uniracers.
Trying to remember all the games with plump protagonists who don't float I've ever played. I was about to guess #14 was Yume Penguin Monogatari but in that water actually makes you fat and you do indeed float.
A good way to narrow it down is to say what generation/system its for if you feel inclined to give hints.
It was released for only one console which was advertised as a 16-bit system, but could be considered 8-bit depending on how you define it. Also, the main character is a bird (but not a penguin).
Oh, shit. Splash Lake.
