I haven't had much time for gaming these last couple weeks, but I've been trying to squeeze in Nightshade whenever I could, since the story was only getting more and more intense as it went along. I don't know if I'm crazy about the plot twist at the end, but I do like how it throws you for a loop if you expect it to be like how real history turned out (since there are some characters who are based on actual Japanese historical figures). But that aside, Choujirou's got an excellent route, even despite my initial impressions of him seeming kind of bland as a character. And truth be told, I wouldn't say the route was excellent because of his relationship with the protagonist. There really wasn't much romance in general. Most of the route focused on the overarching plot, and it was great. I got the Happy Ending, so I'll go through his route again, since I'm still missing a CG, which I assume is for a bad ending. I'm excited to then start up a different route and see if it mirrors Choujirou's route or if the others go in entirely different directions.
