I come across many people who define a system as dead when the system itself is no longer manufactured or distributed in a specific region, but I find it weird to call a system dead when it may be getting new releases regularly for years past that point. I mean, I can't even remember how many years ago it was that Sony stopped stocking new Vita systems in the US, and in line with that, I've been hearing people call the Vita dead since, like, 2015. Yet even now there are upcoming new releases, not just indies even.
