Hi Everyone, name is John but you can call me JZ (or JZ456games). I love talking and learning about all retro video games. I am a serious collector that plays their games
I am not partial to one console over another, I love them all. I am on a Nintendo (NES & N64 specifically) and Sega kick these days, so I will be posting WTB on them. In my real life, I am a project manager and would love to take part on some of these Go-Fund Me unofficial-official ROM prototype projects. I am a very laid back and open person; so don't be a stranger.
Thank you all for letting me be a part of this great community.
Hello everyone! My name is Tom and I am from CT. I am an avid retrogame collector. I probably should have joined this years ago. Nice to meet everyone.

Hey everyone,
This is more of a reintroduction than anything. I've been away from the boards for a long time. I used to idle in the irc room moreso than post here, though. Although I haven't been to the site in a long time, I go to the store in Clifton every once in a while.
I'm getting ready to try to beat all 715 licensed NES games. I decided that I want to do the 715 game challenge on my original NES from when I was a kid, so I'm gonna be giving it some love and installing an NESRGB in it soon. I'll probably make a video about the refurbishment process. I plan to do a few upgrades while I'm in there.
Nice to be back, hope to get involved in some threads soon!
-Jeff
I gave up on trying to do that mod when I couldnt find an RGB cable
I’m putting a multi out port on mine. The same kind used on the snes and n64, so cables are easy to come by, fortunately.

Hi.
Sorry I'm late.
I'm a fairly ordinary chap in his 40s who started gaming way back in the 80s. I think my first ever gaming experience was at around the age of seven; either some kind of very simple horse racing game on my friend's dad's Sinclair ZX80, or possibly on my Nintendo Game & Watch (Donkey Kong II). I'm not sure which came first tbh.
As I grew up, I was lucky enough to own a ZX Spectrum, for which Jet Set Willy II was by far my favourite game. Later on I had an Amiga (still have my original Shadow Of The Beast t-shirt!), a GameBoy, and then a PC.
From my mid-20s on, I had a big break from gaming, and even (I am ashamed to admit) went through a period of looking down on gamers as basically wasting their time on something that didn't improve their lives at all. These days I once again recognise the joy and passion that gaming can bring, and I would never dream of disparaging a fellow gamer. It was when I was in my early 30s that a friend persuaded me to download the free demo version of Battlefield 2142 that I got back into gaming. I ended up buying the full version, and then poured my heart and soul into that game. When EA killed the servers for multiplayer, I felt a huge sadness.
I currently live in Poland of all places, where I came because of a Polish girl.
I think I found these forums by googling for a game-related question to do with SNES multi-tap games.
My favourite game of all time is Tetris, which I have on the NES, GameBoy, Amiga emulator, and SNES. I suppose Dungeon Master for the Amiga would be a very close second though.
I don't really "collect" for any system, but I do own a Japanese and a European SNES, and also an NTSC and PAL NES, and I am slowly accumulating some cool titles for those.
In real life I work as a voice artist, doing voiceovers for video stuff, and also reading audiobooks. I can edit my own recordings too, so feel free to hit me up if you need a British voice with received pronunciation for a project.
I guess I will come back and edit this if I think of any "interesting facts" about myself that I have left out, and which might be worth talking about here. Thanks for having me!

welcome to DP. It's always awesome meeting forum members from outside the U.S. where I live.
