I still enjoy collecting, but I've had to largely suspend it for a few years, looking to start back up in 2021-2022. I'm going to be focusing on the newer stuff, PS1/N64-era to PS3/Wii/360 era (about 1996 to 2014). Those games are, on average, cheaper, more plentiful, and easier to actually play nowadays than, say, Atari 2600. A 2600 is a pain in the ass to use in the modern world, meanwhile a PS2 is a piece of cake.
I really need to get an old '90s CRT TV (as a secondary TV). I looked for a '90s Magnavox a few years back. The '02 Samsung I used to have would play anything from Atari 2600 to PS4.
