A few days ago I ran by my local GameXchange and picked up The Persistance and WipEout Omega Collection for the PS4. And yesterday I went to the big Half Price Books in Dallas and bought a sealed copy of Ruiner for the PS4. Good game so far.
I used to stop at a bubble tea place called Kung Fu Tea in Plano, Texas every once in a while - they had incorporated a Taiwanese fried chicken restaurant into it that was pretty good. Drove past yesterday and it had closed, replaced with a new restaurant called 8-Bit Bites. Ended up stopping there to try it out, decent little burgers and kind of odd fries (the seasoning wasn't great). But nearly every table had screens running emulators with loads of 8 and 16-bit games running on them, mainly NES, SNES, Neo-Geo, Sega Genesis and arcade games from the '80s. All of them set up with four controllers each. A nice set-up, although I'd imagine they'd have to clean the controllers a lot with all the greasy hands touching them. I like the place, I hope its gimmick will keep it around for a while.
