    Nope*, but I'll bet you'll get a better response if I put this in the Video Game forum.

    * I haven't actually played it, really

    Very much so.

    Also in Rush 2049 for Dreamcast.

    I think the goal is to make the computer crash so you can pull ahead.

    Easier said than done though....

    Not retardedly hard, but hard enough! I think this is a strong point in the series, the awesome AI. I have all 3 games for the N64 and I rock at all three, but I never get 1st place every single time during a circuit, and I love that. It makes it alot more interesting, I don't like games where I whip the crap out of the AI every time with ease.

    If you want to get 1st place, its all about taking risks in Rush. You have to risk the shortcuts and secret paths. When you get thru them unscathed you'll jump ahead, but crash in them and you'll get stuck behind. The stages with lots of straightaways can be won with regular racing, but the city stages with lots of 90 degree turns need to be won by taking the shortcuts. Besides, the shortcuts are fun as hell when you grab the awesome airtime. This is my favorite series of Racing games ever, there's just so much to do, and everything is a great challenge, especially trying to get all the keys and mountain dew cans(Rush 2).

    What Gunstar said. Once you learn all the shortcuts (and there's alot) you can place 1st with relative ease. Getting all those damn keys and cans however... x_x

    I got rush 2 for N64 right here *stares evilly at the cartridge* all i really did was stunts and get over the wall stage and got lots of flip at once but anyways for racing i guess gunstar pretty much covered it.

    Yeah. Me too. I got one of the Rush games for N64, which ever one you collect Mountain Dew cans in (oooh...how XTREME!!!!) The racing is actually kinda fun in that cheap arcadey sort of way, but the big room where you can do all the stunts, that's what I spent most of my time doing.

    yeah .. i used some cheats to beat it .. but the stunts are fun so arent reverse 180s the donuts and all that stuff. Without cheating tho its hard as hell to win .. and youll never get anywhere in the game trying to use the automatic. it dont shift right or fast enough

    I would love to see R, R2, and R2049 re-released/updated for a new console. The N64 graphics really hurt my eyes after awhile.

    As for racing tips. Race Dirty (Crash the comp). Use the short cuts. Both have already been said, just didn't want to stray to far off topic.
