It's not a song, but I bet it's a part of one of the Gradius songs... I was observing this dude on DDR, but I wasn't paying attention to him. I was looking at the screen, and I saw the Vic Viper. I also remember you saying Konamiman was playing with a yo-yo.
That's it! Next stop: The Junkyard. Population: You!

These crossovers also go the other direction, too.

Bishi Bashi Special 2 - Gachaga Champ
This game is composed of a number of mini games for two players. Each player has a pair of joysticks. One of the games involves playing Guitar Freaks, and one involves DDR. They both seem to only have one track, though, and it's nothing I recognize.

Bishi Bashi Special 3 - Step Champ
Similar to the other, this is a three player game with small 3 panel foot controllers, and Start buttons. Mini games are played one after the other. One of them is DDR, and in fact there's even an entire DDR mode with 6 half-length tracks. Brilliant2U, Make it Better, and Paranoia are the three from DDR; the other 3 are new concoctions. There's also a Session mini game. One person plays DDR, one plays Guitar Freaks, and the other plays Drummania. I don't recognize the song, though.

Oh yes, Ephemeral Fantasia for the PS2 has a Guitar Freaks minigame. You can even use the GF controller for it. Only thing worth playing in that game.

How far into the game is that? Is there any way to get to it without slogging through the game?

I agree, it's the only redeeming quality.
RIP bargora, you will be greatly missed. That is how we do things on Giedion Prime.

    Oh, I remembered more:

Salamander Beat Crush Mix (Crash Mix) - Beatmania Core Remix
Morning Music/Morning Music Another - Keyboardmania 1st Mix

Morning Music is the tune that the Konami Bubble System arcade games play when booting up. Fire up Gradius in MAME to hear a bit of it.

Yeah, I'd like to see this too....but I have the game and logged maybe 30 mins of playtime into it before I realized it sucked ass.

So yeah, how far into it is it?
