I'm confused also. x_x
On the surface, this looks like a late model NES -- made between 1990 and 1993, when they switched over to the Top Loader for the final year. The box looks to be in great shape, and he says the game and all the packings inside are brand new, never touched.
I'd figure this MIGHT go as high as $100 based on the mint and unopened condition.
But $300?

Man, that drives me nuts. I sold pretty much the same setup as this fellow. Mine was mint, all the plastic bags etc. I got 120 bucks on ebay. This freekshow gets 300.......damn.....oh well.
I like Nintendo's, They are Super.
Makes me happy that I got my action set mint for 40.00!
I just dont get it though, this is insane!
Yep, pretty much.Buy it for what it's worth today, because it will only raise in price tommarow.
Well I see he says it comes with a factory sealed super mario 3
I guess I will buy a sealed copy of Super Mario 3 for 40.00 bucks and sell one of my minty Nes sets with it for 300.00 :P

No, it's included with the system -- you know, they used to GIVE you games when you bought the system, the good old days?
If I recall correctly from when I got my NES (with Super Mario Brothers) and SNES (with Super Mario World) the games don't have a box -- they just have the game and manual.

Thats correct...however this set did come with a complete Mario 3. But I was under the impression that the box that came with Mario 3 was supposed to have "Not For Resale" on it. If thats true, he must have switched them or lost the other one. Thats a lot of the cost there, and its not included. BTW...that price is way too high.Originally Posted by SoulBlazer

The game in that set did come in a box. I dont believe it varied from the normal box. However I am pretty sure it wasnt shrink wrapped. I could be wrong. But I do remember actually buying this set new

Nope, it's a regular complete Mario 3. I've got the action set complete minty fresh from when I first bought it when I was like 5

Well one of the sets has a "Not For Resale" Mario 3...and I thought this was the only Mario 3 set, obviously I'm wrong. Does anyone know which set has it?Originally Posted by Shady Smurf

What i need: SNES games and a few 32x!
I am sure you are mistaken. Nes didnt do that with thier games included in sets. You must be thinking of the Genesis games that came with thier systemsOriginally Posted by Drexel923

No he is right there was a mario 3 that had not for resale or something like that in blue running across it.
Cool people I have bought stuff from on this board: orrimarrko kyosuke75 dave2236 video_game_addict cloudstrife29661 NESCollector75
Mario 3 with the challenge set WAS NOT shrinkwrapped, but was sealed with a sticker running across almost the entire front and over both edges.
sticker says " CHALLENGE SET" "INCLUDED WITH CHALLENGE SET NOT FOR RESALE"
I have the box and the pic will be on my variants website, when I actually get some time to work on it.
so drexel is correct.

Okay, so in THIS set the included game DID have a box. Very interesting.
It LOOKS like this is the correct box, since we can't see any stickers on the one pic of it.
If it was swapped, though, that's a major rip.

Call me a freak but I probably would have gone as high as $150 for that.
