Default How do YOU carry your GBA games?

Usually on a plane trip I've got a whole lot, so "in one pocket" isn't feasible - so I use a ghetto hawaiian printed sack with a draw string. I really haven't seen any cases that I would pay money for to carry around my horde.

So - how does everyone else go about it?

I've got this neat official fabric case made by Case Logic for the classic gameboy. It was free with enough of those Power Stamps back when Nintendo Power was doing the promotion.

Holds any iteration of the gameboy and one compartment has a ton of pockets that was meant for classic gameboy carts without the clamshells. GBA carts in snap cases fit in those well enough. Anybody else have one? It's held up pretty well over the years and I've got my entire collection in there, which is a modest 10.

Hmm...I've seen various fabric cases over the years, I think you could buy something like it at the store since they're pretty common.

Exactly- though not all cases are created equal. I don't care much for the new cases styled for the GBA because the compartments seem to be so specialized and you don't get to put so much in them.

My suggestion, to anyone looking for one, is to just pick up a used case meant for the older styles. Cheap!

I carry them straight back to the boxes they came in. I don't travel, so I'll never lose them!
Currently catching up on PSN, WiiWare, Wii U E-Shop and Xbox Live Arcade exclusives I missed.

I only carry one cartridge when I travel...

but its a flash cart. I burn the games I plan on playing onto that one cart and I'm good to go. (for the record, they're legit backups .. mostly)

There's no clear argument that you can make legal backups of your games, sorry.

We'll just pretend that's not true, though ;]

I have a camera case I bought at some flea market that's perfect. GBA in one pocket, game carts in another, plug, earphones, etc. in another. Nice armstrap for carrying through the airport, but I don't look like a 12-year old with a GBA "Pokemon Edition" case.

However, EVERY FRIGGIN' TIME this goes through the airport x-ray, I get stopped and it has to get checked out. You'd think they've seen a zillion Gameboys everyday. But since I'm a 38-year old guy with a GB in a camera case, I'm suspicious. x_x

Even more bizarre, I brought a Vectrex system in my carry-on to last year's CGE. I was prepared to undergo cavity searches at the airport to explain this thing. It passes through the x-ray.
"TV set?" the x-ray guy asks.
"Nope, videogame with a built-in screen" I answer.
He waves me through. My Gameboy gets me stopped. But a big-assed Vectrex isn't even suspicious.

I use business card organizers (that I found discarded at work). They store about 6 games each, they're stackable, transparent, and they're good for some of the odd-ball GBA carts (like Boktai). I'm still looking for a better solution where I don't have to mess around too much to find what I'm looking for while maintaining easy transportability.

I don't know what yours looks like but I keep my GBA in a oldschool fabric Gameboy case as well. :P Atleast when I'm going out anyway. Otherwise my SP sits in an aluminum lock box looking thing made by Intec.

I keep my GBA games in an old fabric case ment for the original gb. I also put the games in cases that were ment for the GB games, too. But they fit good in those. The games I don't bring with me are in a plastic storage bin thingy.

I got an official Nintendo GBASP case at a dollar store here that holds 5 games at a time (1 in the GBASP and 4 in pockets) and earphones. I used to try to keep my whole collection with me, but that stopped working once it grew past 25. And now I believe I have ~50 GBA games (And even more for the other GBs!).

I can also advocate the 3rd party cases. The open-close transparent ones by Hip Gear (wow, what a name) cover the entire cartridge reliably, keeping stuff in mint condition. My copy of Blackthorne even went through the dryer (!) unscathed in one of those.

Too lazy to probably ever finish up my older games, but collection funtime.

When I go on a plane I usually just stuff all my portable games into a backpack, along with anything else I might need for the the flight. If I'm worried that the cartridges might get lost, I'll pack them in their boxes before they go into my bag.

I grab like 6 of them and roll them up in my shirt sleeve like a pack of smokes.

I wouldn't be comfortable having them rolled up like a pack of cigs, but I give props for the manliness--especially after reflecting upon how I carry mine. I use a Mary Kay make-up purse. Don't ask how this came into my posession.

You can fit about four into a condom, and then you're good to go. Unless the filthy pigs do a cavity search.
