Well gee whiz! Maybe I should buy the copy that Funcoland has for $2.99! What a steal! Now if only I could get the Stadium Events that we sell for $4.99.
Everyday, I try to think that the human race will eventually shed its most gullible people in favor of smarter, more focused individuals. Everyday, I learn the human race readily increases it's output of its most gullible people.
@Queen - Hey you been eyeing up all the protos lately. Waz up with that?
I thought this one was funny myself. I like the original way he added his ebay name to the auction picture.

I emailed this guy and this was the reply.
I'm just a seller. I do not collect NES, Sega or Playstation stuff. I just sell it. I sold a Comix Zone about 6 months ago for $87.00. I was told it was a rare game. That's why my auction said "I was told it was rare game." I did not say it was a rare game. No facts here but I did get $87.00 for it and the guy who bought it said it was a rare game.
:shocked!:
I kinda figured the seller was clueless about it, but I can't believe he'd throw in the "100 copies made" statement without doing a little research. I've sold stuff I had lying around the house that I didn't know anything about but I did know not to just throw out some lines like that unless I was ABSOLUTELY sure I was correct.
@Buyatari: I've always wanted a proto of my very own. I won icbrkr's, and now I'm hooked. D'oh!

Question. What prevented this guy from searching eBay for other copies of Comix Zone, which rarely sells for over ten bucks there? How can people put items like this up while knowing, as any rational person would, that buyers will inevitably compare one auction to another and notice, for example, how brick-brained ridiculous it is to put a $100 BIN on a game that routinely sells for about five bucks?!
Yeah, I know: This seller's thinky part don't work too good. I just had to get the above off of my chest.
And Comix Zone's only three bucks at Funco? Hmmm . . .
