Looks more like a crappy shareware collection to me.
edit: Like davidbrit said, it's something I'd probably get if it came stateside, but nothing I'll go out of my way to import. Crappy or not, it's definitely weird.
Interesting! Particularly, why do the screenshots look more like GBA games? But if a US distributor gets this, I'd probably order one just for the combined coolness and weirdness.
Doesnt this company make these games for PS2? I thought Ive seen them before at Best Buy.
Yeah. Does anyone know if CodeJunkies will ship to the US with this?
Egbert, I miss you...
Hahahah. At first I was thinking Mario and other NES exclusive complilations. then I saw what it was. Bunch of crappy games formatted to the NES. I am probably going to import oneif its under 10 bucks, just cause it is an intresting piece.
Somebody make me a "CGE 2k7 Attendee banner" so I don't have to use this lame text
of course they willOriginally Posted by Querjek

this will be a future panesian-game....just for Gamecube and not for NES!
unliscensed games rule
don't forget: It's pretty expenisve making those special-mini dvds...there WON'T be MANY of those unliscensed games for cube.
Hi, all. Just so you know, I heard through the grapevine that this compilation actually runs Datel's GBA emulator. Hence, the screenshots don't look like GameCube graphics. Interesting, no?
Yeah, I'll be sure to get it nowOriginally Posted by Zubiac666
I was a bit suspect of that.Originally Posted by § Gideon §

I'm not familiar with any of those games. Maybe they are famicon games that never got released in USA. They should make a SNES collection for Gamecube.
They're not from any other system, but rather are games that CodeJunkies made.Originally Posted by NeoVenom

I don't know much about any of these games, except for one, Chopper 2. Chopper 2 was an old school dos game, and its awesome that they made an upgraded version of it for cube. I am going to buy this for the simple fact that it has chopper 2.
The thing is though, this game looks pal (and I am guessing it is). I have a regulat ntsc cube, how possible is it going to be for me to play this?
i saw chopper 2, and for about $7, I want this game bad now, but it will suck big time if it won't run on my system.
p.s. - anyone that hasn't played chopper 2 for dos needs to go on the net and find it. it is definately worth it, but then again, if you are ordering this, you can wait a few days.
ok, i don't mind buying an extra disc for chopper 2 on the cube. seriously, if you haven't played chopper 2, you need to play chopper 2. I know of the 2 secret easter eggs levels too if anybody is interested. I wonder if they plan on keeping them in the new version or not.
Man, I never thought ever chopper 2 would get a facelift. the premise is simple, but it will get very complex and very difficult very fast.
There are some missions where you have to stop a cruise missile from hitting your base, and you can't go kamikaze on it, so you have to aim just right and take it out with a missile. sounds simple, but is super fun.
everybody that has a cube needs to get this so that they can have chopper 2.
Are any reputable import companies in the U.S. going to have these for sale?
Currently catching up on PSN, WiiWare, Wii U E-Shop and Xbox Live Arcade exclusives I missed.
OH MY GOD, I used to play the hell out of that! I loved that game. Especially trying to hit the ejector seat and letting your chopper coast into another enemy chopper, and then gunning down the enemy pilot on land. Ha ha. That is just about the best old CGA game ever. Sopwith 2 was tons of fun as well. Okay, back to your regularly scheduled thread. Heh.Originally Posted by SegaAges
Thanks for the heads up Zubiac666, much appreciated.
Judging from the quality of the games, I think it would be more accurate to call this collection the GameCube's Action 52.Originally Posted by Zubiac666

Looks more like a money grab for the publisher (quick cash-in on retro) than something that gamers would want to play again and again.
If they wanted to add a little more pizzaz, they should have included the game I created: "Arcade Snake @ RedMud Games.com." Then at least something else on the compilation would be worth coming back to besides Chopper 2. And if they paid me to have the game on the compilation, that would be even better!
I'd buy it just for the obscurity factor. At less than $10. Only if it was easy to get. Then on the shelf it goes for future generations to gawk in amazement at.
Is this the first Cube Unlicensed game?
