What a ripoff! Selling a blown up photo as artwork?!? x_x

I believe I've seen her website before... it's not a blown up photo it's a copy painted in acrylic. They're certainly not the most skillful paintings I've ever seen, but it's a unique idea, which in the art community is valued more then if the painting was "pretty".Originally Posted by SoulBlazer
That said she's selling it dirt cheap, so if you did want some video game "artwork" to decorate your game room you'd be getting a good deal. Even if they are "copies" they still take time to paint, which is what you're paying for.
Also I believe she's a comercial artist, if I'm not mistaken she does a lot of advertising photography. I dunno, some how screenshot reproductions fits right in. :P

Good thing you guys arent over on Atari Age, shes a member there and actually posted about that perticular piece of art. How is that not cool? I mean, really? Plus, she has done a lot of rad stuff, like that Megaman. Plus, why are you guys so... assholish to the idea? If its something somebody likes to do for their own creative purposes, why do you have to go and rain on thier parade?
