i think i'm very interested in getting a little collection of these babies going. could anyone chime in on title rarity, price and how many actual SMS titles were released on this format? (expecting a ball park figure)
any help appreciated

Any tennis videogame is a glorified version of pong.
10 non-us games. Just do a title search for "card" under sega master system for the full list.
They pop up on ebay.com.au from time to time, so thats your best bet for finding them (complete cards are fairly uncommon in the wild). The guide doesnt have prices but i'd expect you'd end up paying about $15AU each on ebay, and the few i have seen in the wild were around that (Video games heaven knox/melbourne sold them for $15-20ish).
Hang On, Great Soccer and Bank Panic are definitely the hardest ones to find.
Especially Hang On and Great Soccer.
hang on loose on ebay.

7 US releases, plus another 3 European/Australian-only releases.
Expect to pay around $10-$15 for the more common ones.
It's the boxed (Aus-only) Hang On that's rare, the loose Euro one is dead common.
thankyou all for the help. it seems that i'm already halfway there, then -- i thought there'd be many more to collect. i currently have 5 which are pretty much mint abd boxed/complete (including the plastic sleeves) and one loose complete copy of transbot which was in one of the other boxes!
the games include
- F-16 Fighter
- Teddy Boy
- Ghost House
- My Hero
-Transbot (loose with instructions and placky sleeve)
- Hang on
so only a few more to go!
thanks again

Hey:
I just realized I had some of these SMS cards:
My Hero w/case and Transbot w/case
Basically cool to look at since I don't have a SMS.
Sorry I couldn't help you on your quest.

You've got the boxed Hang On already? NiiiceOriginally Posted by Roganjohn
It'd probably be wise to grab any more that you come across, since you could make a tidy sum selling/trading them to hungry US/European collectors
(I'm just missing the Aussie Hang On manual for a 100% complete card set )
I need more cards
The first SMS game I bought to collect a few years ago was a card,
My Hero, boxed and mint....... 20p!
Anybody have some extra card sleeves hanging around? 4 out of my 5 card games don't have one.
