    Default Heavily Edited SNES games?

Hello everyone! I've recently been interested in collecting SUper Famicom games, but I've only been buying games that were never released in the US. Then I wondered what US releases were heavily edited from their original Japanese versions, because those would also be nice to have. So what SNES games were significantly altered in their US forms? The only ones I could come up with were:

    CAstlevania 4
    Final Fight

What other ones are there? Are these even correct? Help me out, Folks!

When Assault Suits Valken was released here as Cybernator, there were some changes made. Nothing too drastic, but enough that if you play both versions, you'll notice what was changed. I've documented the two major changes here.

    Earthbound (Mother 2 in japan)
    * There is a sequence where Ness is nude in Mother 2, obviously he isn't in the US version.
    * All the red crosses on the hospitals are removed in the US version.
    * Changes in the script so it looks like Ness hasn't met Paula and Jeff before (probably done because the prequel wasn't released).
    * As well as some other changes (some statues looks different for example).

If I remember right the 2nd half of the game was a bit darker and ha dmore adult themes, and Kefka commited suicide or something.

Wolfenstein 3D was heavily edited for the SNES also.

Our Super Baseball Simulator 1.000 is different than the Japanese version (Ours has different music and the players look more realistic)

One of the Ranma games for the SFC was released as a a completely different game in the US. Street Combat, I think.

The sound and graphics were entirely different (ie: nothing to do with Ranma at all), but the engine and attacks are exactly the same.

Not trying to harp on you, but man this is a pet peeve of mine:

A PREQUEL is a sequel which has a story set chronologically before the original work.

A PREDECESSOR is an original work, to which a sequel has been made, regardless of the time frame of that sequel's story.

Let me just say this... Rushing Beat Shura might be The Peace Keepers to some, but to me, they aren't the same ballpark, they're not even the same game. It's gotta be one of THE most butchered U.S. releases ever, and while words fail me, take a look at this:

This is why I refuse to play the American version of the game. I'll get me a Super Famicom convertor before I decide to own the inferior American version.

Ditto, i was just gunna mention the Rushing beat series, the japanese versions are way better, why do they (Ninty) have A-holes! that decide these silly changes..?

Nintendo had to makes these changes to keep thier nice clean image.

But they bent thier rules just for Mortal Kombat 2 because they saw how censoring the first one netted crappy sales.

So the lesson learned is that keeping a family friendly image and ideals for the company is good...unless there is money to be made.

I honestly don't know why they even let Wolf3D be made for the SNES if they were just doing to screw around with it. The extra weapons were nice but the "pseudo-nazi's" are just plain silly

The Japanese version of SF2 has different names for the bosses... Balrog and M. Bison's names are switched. Also M. Bison looks a lot more like Mike Tyson.

In Zangief's stage, you can see people drinking and one of the guys in the crowd's "cheering" animation looks a lot like he spanking his monkey.
