These cartridges are dirty as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!
Wasn't going on at my local TRU... god I hate that place
Some fantastic "deals" I saw there-
Fantavision for $30!!! oooooooh
A bin of N64 games labeled- "Clearance- $10-$50"
... including a copy of *drum roll* Mega Man Legends for $50!!!!
I went to one location today to look for the only two games I want: Final Fight and Doom II on GBA. Did not find them. Left afterwards.
Fantavision should be $5. Gamestop sells it for over a year now for $5.Originally Posted by FantasiaWHT

TRus is usually not good for videogames. They sold Eternal Darkness for $50 long after Gamestop sold it for $15.
...but this sale is really good.
TRUS is not doing very well, btw. Walmart has a bigger marketshare of the toy business than TRUS as a specialized toystore.
Weeelp fellas,
I went to my local TRU tonight and loaded up on pure sweet n0thing!!I was soo mad. Yet I don't know why, because I knew I wasn't going to find anything I wanted. I actually went down to frekin wally world (aka Wal-Mart - worst place ever invented) directly after I left and bought Rainbow Six 3 Black Arrow and 13 Going on 30...for FULL retail price! eggcellent....
Had to get something tonight...screw it $60 dolairos..
What are you gonna do..![]()
Well, I found another TRU today, and they were indeed selling Tron 2.0 for $9.99 CDN, over 50 % off the regular price. That was pretty much the only thing of note I saw in their PC section, but I'm happy now.
Oh, and that $55 CDN copy of Majestic I saw there last year? They've still got it... for $55 CDN. (The stacks of unsold Treasure Planet CD-ROM games are only slightly less unsightly.)
Just a heads-up, they are starting to tag the games and put signs up. If you haven't gone to your local TRU yet, then head over there now.
i went to the closest 2 tru's today about an hour away
and spent 230 on lots of cool stuff.

I went to two different TRU's today and got 22 games. Thanks for the info guys. I got lots of games that I wanted when they came out but I didn't want to pay full price so I didn't get them. I did rack up $200 on my credit card though! Oh well it was worth it. Know I just need to find time to play them all.
Stopped by Toys R Us on a whim the other day. Was a little strapped for cash to fully take advantage of the sale but I did pick up the following:
GBA Virtua Tennis $4.95
Dreamcast Sega Marine Fishing $4.95
N64 Rumble Pack $.50
Hopefully will stop by again this week and see what is left.![]()

Of course you won't find anything. The stores were picked clean long ago.
Hmm...at this rate it doesn't look like a TRU toy store closing would help release games into the market.
Heh, as if I want that to happen.
I went about a week ago and got Wild Arms 3 for a friend for $15 and went ahead and picked up Tony Hawk 3 Xbox for $10. Unfortunately, looks like the party's just about over for this sale. You can still get some cheap 3rd party DC VMUs though...
I found Chefs Luv Shack (DC) there today was there last DC game.
