all i know is if someone came up to me and said something like " you canadian'ed me", i wouldnt care :P

Canadian is a national identity. Jewish is an ethnic and religious identity. Also, there's not a history of systematically persecuting Canadians just because they're Canadian, Strange Brew aside.
