Default PSX Dex Drive for PS2 memory card!

I asked about this a while ago on a PS2 forum since both PSX and PS2 memory card used the same pinout and PS2 format was different but shouldn't be a problem with the Dex Drive. Sure enough, the Dex Drive can use PS2 memory card with no mod, just a different program to handle PS2 format.

http://moberg-dybdal.dk/psxge/ (this also supports other memory card reader as well)

Worth checking out if you have a Dex Drive gathering dust and you want to make a backup copy of PS2 memory card or are running out of room on the memory card and don't want to delete anything or buy new memory card.

Crazy: you wouldn't happen to know where I could get a driver for this?

It's an mpxchanger.. It does N64, PS and GB/GBC

Got the damn thing for next to nothing but Blaze doesn't have a web site and there is no download I can find.

If anyone has one of these please send me the drivers.

Glad you brought this up. Can PS1 memcard saves be used with Super Nintendo emulators? I want to use my FF6 PS1 saves with FF3 SNES.

@Raedon- I never heard of that and I don't know where to begin. Sorry. Maybe you could email the author of that program and see what he knows?

@gaming- I doubt that as FF6 for PSX probably used different format for saving than FF3. If you knew the details (ie which byte controls what) it may be possible to manually convert or even write a FF6 <-> FF3 savegame converter.

Raedon, sorry but i got bad news to tell you. From what i heard from other people this product sucked so terribbly it wouldn't transfer saves to the computer. If i were you,i would go with the dex port and sharkport. From my point of view, both of them are really good to use.
