Do you keep it all in one, lest the spouse get upset? Or is it spread out all over the place?
I recently consolidated to get it down to 3. If you count game-related stuff (posters, shirts, mugs, videos, CDs, etc.) it would be up to 6 for me.

I have 2 rooms but there is always stuff in transit from one room
to the other (on seperate sides of the house ) so theres always
gaming stuff in almost every room almost all the time
I'm gonna say 4, but it's technically 5...
ONE.

Now, the FIFTH room is a small bedroom that we just keep our recyclables and various junk in, but it's also where my video game wardrobe is presently. I'm going to be moving all that stuff come springtime though. So... FOUR for me!
Ouch Joe what do you do for a living?
That place would be an insurance NIGHTMARE. Imagin if an
isurure had to pay for the loss of you're collection
I live in a mobile home, so I don't have a lot of space. Most of my collection is in the living room, the bedroom closet contains my CoCo 3 and its disk drives along with a spare 12" A/V monitor. The computer room (ie ex-master bedroom) has some carts in it and all of my books and manuals.
I voted 3, because I normally have 3 rooms with the stuff in it. The Living room with the newer stuff (PSX/Dreamcast/Xbox, etc) My office has a NES and Genesis with power base converter in it, along with misc stuff, and the rec room, where the other 500 games are.
Though, as I look around, there is stuff sitting in pretty much every room, including the bathroom, which is frequently the home of my GBA
3 at the moment. DC, GC, PS2 and XBOX are in the living room. everything else is in the basement including the basement bathroom which has boxes of handheld games stuffed in the shower stall and a few boxed consoles piled next to the toilet. It's also the home of my Mattel Football 2 which sees plenty of action while I'm takin care of business.
2! My bedroom and the basement. I'm currently adding more shelves, so soon the walls will be lined with video game crap

I have it in 5 rooms right now.
The thing is I have more gaming stuff than I can rememebr.
I found a megadrive down the back of the sofa once.
I open a cupboard and stuff falls out.
Right now I have 34 different games systems, all set up and ready to play.
p.s And a very patient wife.

Excluding the attic, just one room. Which is even more crazy if you know just how much stuff I actually own!
I use 3 rooms.
1) Living Room: for the games I am currently playing.
2)Bedroom: My collection that does not get played anymore.
3)Office: When a game is not longer played and it isn't part of the collection it goes tothe office to be sold on ebay or traded.
I don't have a large collection. I have had to sell it off on 3 occassions due to money problems.
Most of my games are kept boxed up in the basement. The rest are in my bedroom. Limited space at my house or I'd have 'em all in one room.
Just one room for me, which is kind of odd considering the number of systems and games I now own. They share my bedroom with my collection of several hundered books and computers (and of course, me ).
I have stuff in every room, although considering I only HAVE three rooms that's not saying much.
Bedroom: All my systems except Dreamcast and the PS2
Living Room: Dreamcast and PS2 so I can play Samba De Amigo and DDR. Only place that has room for those mat things.
Bathroom: Gameboy Advance, for those times when I gotta, um, be there awhile. EVERYBODY needs one for their bathroom!

"I am way too lesbian for that shit."
We live in a Studio.
I pretty much keep ALL of my video game stuff in my room, but my friends are constantly rehooking the stuff up in my basement to play.
Somebody once told me to get a life.
I told them I sold it for money to buy video games.
Only one by the moment...but itīs a very big room :P
3 or 4... and my situation is worse because 2 of them with pretty much 95% of my stuff are 7000 miles away back at home (my parents house). I came here to WA 3 years ago with nothing but a suitcase of clothes.. but I've already sort of caught up with a new 2600/colecovision/etc. collection. And of course the current consoles I bought here.
