Genre question? 3D Beat em Up

mhh what's up with these

i always thought that means games like Virtua Fighter, Doa, Tekken and so on, but it seems like most editors use it for games like Dynasty Warriors, Zombie Revenge, new Turtles and so on

how is it meant to be?? i'd prefer the Virtua Fighter style games, i know those also fit under "Tournament Style", but personally i'd like to divide 2D and 3D ones

For now, please keep all of the tournament-style fighting games to the Tournament/Fighting genre. At some point in the future we may fragment the genres to a finer degree.

you should do a search for 3D Beat em Up then, some of those that come up would have to be Tournament then, i'll change those that are on my lists, but a lot aren't

Yeah, it seems I need to put together a document describing the genre names. It's on my list of things to do!
