I've gotten it on an individual match, but not as an overall grade.
Has anybody achieved this? And if it's not on the hardest level, it doesn't count, so don't bother if that's the case.

Holy crap. It's been a while.
I think I'm a damn good fighter in SF3, but the grades don't say so. I think... I think the highest I ever got was an A, possibly an A+, but no A++ to my recollection. Reaching an S rank is out of my league, though, even with Akuma.

If I have gotten A++ on an individual match on the hardest setting and an A+ grade overall, then theoretically A++ is possible as an overall grade, correct?
To get A+ on the hardest setting, I beat every character, with the right number or SPs to get to Q, the secret charcter, never lost a match, beat the SUV perfectly, Got 18/20 on the parrying bonus stage, beat Gil. And that only got an A+.
THEREFORE my belief is the parrying bonus stage must be done perfectly as well.
HOWEVER, once I did all of that only to get an A, another time I actually lost one match (which is pathetic), and still got A+. All on the hardest setting.
I NEVER continue, by the way. It's all or nothing, the first time around.
Nobody knows any specific criteria? Maybe the 2 perfect bonus stages aren't necessary after all... or are they?
A+ is not good enough for me. I consider myself a total loser if I am unable to get A++. I've been trying off and on since 1999.
Or am I just unhealthily obsessed?

Well, when you factor those parameters into the grand scheme of things, you actually come out as a total loser either way you play it.Originally Posted by tony_good

Don't forget about S, SS, SX, and MSF. Anyone who can get a MSF overall is a cyborg.

Highest I've gotten in an online match is A+ I think.
I've gotten an A with Q on a few occasions.
I don't play much one player, I think the highest overall grade I got was B+ or something.
