What's the best version of Parodius for Saturn?

I've been thinking about beefing up my import Saturn collection with some good shooters.

I've played a few Parodius games and enjoyed them, but i'm not sure which is the best or which one has the most value (Isn't there a collection with more than one game?)

I like Sexy Parodius, myself. It's more colorful and risque than the other versions. Still has that fun Konami-like feel to it as well as more selectable characters.

Yeah, Parodius Deluxe pack. If you're looking to get into the series then maybe you should start out with the Deluxe Pack. It includes both Paroidus Da! and Gokujyo Parodius. Plus it usually cheaper then Sexy Parodius (I got it for around 20 US dollars). However, whatever game you decide to start out with you really can't lose. They're all quite good.

Sexy Parodius is actually considered by most to be the best of the Parodius series. I'm inclined to agree with them.

I prefer the SNES versions of the first 2 Parodius games to their Saturn counterparts. The music on the Saturn version isn't very good (Plus Parodius Da! on level 8 is unbeatable!).

Jikkyou Oshaberi Parodius, has a ton of secrets (Including the full vocal version of a song!), lots of things to find for a shooter, and is my favorite. It's leagues better than the SNES version (Though that version has a couple of exclusive bosses).

Sexy Parodius would be better if you could have an option to go to every level in order, but it's still pretty good (with a ton of sight gags). Plus the bosses are very memorable.
