I've flicked through the Room of Doom pages to discover neat and practical solutions to storing box-less SNES and N64 cartridges. Unfortunately, I found nothing of use.
The problem is, whichever way you stack or line up your cartridges, you cannot see the labels. You cannot identify the game at a distance like you can a box.
I saw that some people stored the cartridges in trays or drawers that they can sort through with ease. I even saw a tray that seemed designed to hold SNES carts, though it didn't hold very many.
I've also seen a little six-cart tray packaged inside a zip protective case, but six slots isn't ideal for me.
So I'm opening this up to you, experienced collectors. Enlighten me to the best way of storing and protecting my box-less carts.
I thank you
