Picked up R Racing Evolution (with Pacman vs.) at TRU for a buck fifty, so even if I end up hating it I can get my money back at Gamestop. Also grabbed N2O for three bucks at...well, GS. Quite a psychedelic-looking little game, it is...
I was inspired by everyone going to Goodwill and thrift shops and stuff that I decided to give the local Goodwill a spin. They had two N64s (both black with only the power cords and one was missing the cover for the expansion pack for $15 and $25) and that was it. I was going to get discouraged but I decided to go to the local game store (forgoing EB Games and Game Stop) and poked my nose around. Good thing I did because:
I purchased Bump N Jump (NES) for $4.95, Championship Pro Am (Genesis) for $4.95 (it included the manual,) and Eternal Champions (Genesis) for $2.95 (also included manual.)
I also was talking to one of the associates about manuals and he pulled out this big bin of manuals that usually get put with the games but the owner had been lax apparently.
I got the following manuals forfree (broken up by system):
NES: Nobunaga's Ambition, Tetris, Legend Of Zelda, Super Mario Bros 2, Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt, Hogans Alley
Gameboy: Precautions Booklet, Paperboy, Tetris, Kirby's Dream Land
SNES: SNES Instruction Manual, Animaniacs (x 2 by accident,) Super Mario World, Super Mario World 2, Super Mario All Stars, Donkey Kong Country
N64: Kirby 64, Mario Kart 64, Pokemon Snap, Donkey Kong 64, Super Mario 64, Pokemon Stadium
Genesis: Sonic The Hedgehog, Sonic The Hedgehog 2, Sonic The Hedgehog 3, Sonic Spinball, Street Fighter 2 SCE, Road Rash II
I believe that I grabbed a couple duplicates by accident so I'll post what I duplicated and if anyone wants them maybe we can work out a deal.

I picked up these games today at a pawn shop of all places. Theres a local shop that always has a huge selection of games. They never sell though because his prices as astronomical. He seems to think he knows what's valuable for all consoles NES and later but he's not at all familiar with the earlier stuff. So its worth it for me to stop by from time to time to see if he gets anything new and interesting.
So today I stopped by and noticed a Colecovision steering wheel controller in a bag behind the counter. Turns out thats all he had but that's when this kid he has that works with him mentions that he has a Colecovision and a lot of carts at home that he'd be willing to sell. So he goes and gets everything; He has a pretty clean console with all of the expansion modules, a bunch of controllers and about 50 or so games. He says that he wants about $175 for everything. Well, this was much more thab I was willing or able to pay but then he told me that he'd sell the games at $4 each if I was interested. I picked out the following and eventually got them for $3 each because I bought a bunch. So I paid $39 for the lot you see here.

I haven't looked it up yet but does anyone know what the little blue one with the red button on the top is? It looks like a C64 cart and says One Step Utility Cartridge on it.
Pac-Man NES Classics - $10
Yeah, not all that exciting, but it does finally complete the set of US releases for me.
my father called me today from the coast with some good news. he found me a mint and complete NES Action set for $35 bucks and a Snow Bros cart only for 2 bucks.
The funnny thing....
I have found 2 snow bros in the past before... and both for 2 bucks each. sounds like 2 is the lucky number when it comes to that damn game. Too bad i can't ever find a dusty diamonds or little samson as they are two of the harder to find NES games of equal rarity (or so i believe) that i need.
If anyone wants the Snow Bros i will definately do a straight across trade for a little samson.
