People say that even for a PS2 game, Rez is really tough to find. Is that true?

Rez and Gitaroo man are hard to find on ps2, I hope rez gets a re-print as I do not want to spend $90 for my copy, same w/ gitaroo

I still have three sealed pal DC-versions somehwere at my parents room.. Anyway a great game, and real fun to play. The first game which came to the level of Tempest 2000 since that game was released.

I think that I read somewhare that they are not re-printing/re-releaseing REZ. They are going to release all the games that they still have in there warehouse from the original release.

I don't know if these are the ones that the stores sent back when they didn't sell, or if stores just didn't order them and they have been sitting there all this time.

It's deffo harder to get for the DC than for the PS2 (at least in Europe, anyway). I picked mine up for £12 though.

This info is in this month's GamePro (almost sure that was the one...). Anyways, the editors contacted whoever they needed to contact, so that should be consider CASE CLOSED on the Rez re-release. Amen.

2 or 3 years ago I remember seeing a PS2 copy of Rez sitting on the bottom shelf of my local EB with a price of $3.99 . It was THE lowest priced PS2 game in the store. It just sat there for months on end and I must have picked it up at least three or four times to look at it wondering why it was the cheapest game in the store. I had no clue what kind of game it was and looking at the back of the box I saw some polygonal looking screen shots which made it look kinda weird so I went online to read a review. The reviewer described as a rail shooter and personally, I never cared much for rail shooters, so I left it. I don't know when Rez start climbing thru the roof price wise, but I'll never forget how many chances I had to pick it up for a pittance!
Last year a board member snagged a brand new copy at one of those TRU $5 sales and sold it here for $40. I guess I'm glad I bought it, though I haven't had a chance to play it yet. I also picked up a new JPN DC Rez for $30 on Ebay.
