Not much for me so far. Cheap finds are rare here.

I did pick up a gameboy camera for $3 today though. The store couldn't sell it for $5 and marked it down. They had it sort of hiding in the case on the very bottom in the very back, with the price hiding. It's battery backup works fine still. It still had a picture on it.

From what I remember, the gold controller was the Joycard Sansui SSS by Hudson Soft (I think I've got the name right, but I'd have to go dig out an old magazine to confirm). I think it was supposed to do something special with the sound (like shift it left/right with directional movement or something), but I've never used one personally.

went to my local salvos today. on the counter for $1 each was

    - A2600 HES 2-pak of Riddle of the sphinx and Laser Gates MIB
    - the rare C64 HES Frogger MIB (!!! --- it's rated an R7 on these boards)

needless to say i picked 'em up. the guy at the counter then says to me "oh, you like old games, eh? i've got some amiga stuff out the back".

for an extra $10 i got

    - fully working and great condition Commodore 1084S monitor.
    - about 100 Amiga games (most are copies, and sensible soccer was missing from it's box )
    - an amiga and c64, neither work that well, but i tested the cables and they work -- so i'll keep 'em for spares for my own C64 and amiga.

    pretty good day all up

caut, yes i agree the SS is the best football game ever. i want it on either amiga or SNES, and although they're easy enough to find on either format , the game keeps avoiding me.

it just doesn't exist in this country, and i don't wanna have to spend $30 to ship out a SNES copy from the UK.

but i guess i'll cave eventually

Didn't find much but while going to the local game store (ironically the EB Games I went to first only has the current-gen games in the pre-played bin now)

    Anyways I got:

A Sega Game Gear (this one had a near immaculate screen unlike the other one I picked up a few months ago! Plus this one actually had battery covers on the back.) for $14.95

Chicago Syndicate (weird little Game Gear game using the Gangster character from Eternal Champions) for $1.95 (loose unfortunately)

Now that I'm starting to get settled in my new house I may venture out a little more to look!
My webcomic about three kitties and their humans. Touches on different subject matter (including video games) and updates every Sunday and Wednesday. (The kitties demand you read it!)

    YES!

    Billy Hatcher CIB $3

I have been trying to get this for awhile now, for cheap.

Also, a CIB Sonic 3D Blast. I already have one, but for $2, there was no way in hell I was letting this piece of Sonic history stay there.

    I just got this:
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=5980400499

It's another Tomy Pocket game for my collection. I got it for $3.00.
    It looks suprisingly like Centipede.

Not a great find, but kind of interesting. I found a Japanese Starfox 64 at Goodwill today for $3. Previous owner had filed the corners off the cart so it's "region free".

It's always weird to find imports in the wild.
