What all Gamecube lightgun games are out there? And more importantly, what are the best ones?
I picked up a gun for $2 at a thrift store last weekend -- now I'm wanting to try it out!

Unless you programmed one for that Apple IIg....
Didnt know there was lightgun games for GC.
Does Starsky & Hutch for the Cube support the wheel / lightgun setup?
Honestly, that's about all I can think of.

I swear it was a GC connection on the end of it. Now I'm going to have to go home and double check.
EDIT: D'oh -- it just clicked. I'm sure it's for the Dreamcast.

There wrong, I have the game, although not opened. On the back it shows 2 player co-op, but with 2 gamepads. Where as on the other 2 systems it shows one pad and one gun.Originally Posted by s1lence

Standard issue US Dreamcast light gun. Now go get yourself House of the Dead 2, Confidential Mission, and Sega Smash Pack (with Virtua Cop 2). GO. ;-)
picture is a bit blurry, but I believe that's the Interact Starfire. One of the few guns for the US Dreamcast. Weird double trigger - faster shooting?
Always looking for more SMS. And Resident Evil too.

I don't like the fact that gun shooting games are getting easier. You still have to do it the old-school way of holding two hands on the gun, and putting your index finger over the site to reload. I never felt the same about HOTD2 DC as I did about HOTD2 arcade because of that. :/ And I know you can turn it off by default or not use it, but it just doesn't seem natural to have it on the gun then.
Question now -- is there a lightgun for the Cube? I'd love to see it. Even if it was only for Starsky & Hutch (god knows why THAT would've happened!)

** Trying to finish up an overly complete Dreamcast collection... want to help? (Updated 5/3/10!) http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=61333
Yeah, that's one of about 3 lightguns you'll see regularly for the DC in the states. The other two are made by Mad Catz (looks more like a Star Trek phaser or something) and one by Pelican (which, at the later half of the DC's lifespan, came bundled with games like HotD2 and Death Crimson OX).
Nintendo's last light-gun effort was the Super Scope, that daft bazooka type jobbie for the SNES. They haven't bothered since then, so no N64 or GC gun.
The PC Engine doesn't have a light gun either. In fact the only consoles with guns are the NES, SNES, all 4 Segas, Xbox and PS1 & 2.
You dare ignore the Ataris??? ;-)Originally Posted by CosmicMonkey
