That game wasn't just a piece of history that you destroyed but also the work of many people who probably have lost something of theirs forever. You could have just disappeared and not mentioned it again, or just sold it. Why would you let 2,000 dollars go out like that?
Hey Climax Together, I have, in my house, the only surviving M2 3DO home console!
Oops, I guess I just hit it. Repeatedly. With a hammer.
Damn, it had some sweet games too.
well maybe those selfish fucks who worked on the game should have dumped the romsOriginally Posted by Climax Together

Ha, it never ends. It simply WILL NOT END! Come on now, let's just have a chuckle and leave.
Bacon, Bacon, Bacon, IT'S BACON!!!!
As a game programmer and a collector, i'm stunned.
That settles it, if i actually get the copy i ordered online, i'm dumping it.
This has got to be the strangest topic I have ever seen on this board. o_O
this is a tragedy like romeo & juliet, perhaps now the collectors and the pirates will see what all the fighting has done and come to terms with each other.
Someone wanted to pay 2000$ for this??? I was only offered 800, and that's just a week's pay.. I guess I shouldn't have done this, but it was irritating to have everyone contacting me about it.
Paul
Next time don't listen to all the people trying to force you into doing what you don't want to do. Do what YOU want, not want others want.

You can still re-assemble the chip board, sir. If you have some glue or something I'm sure you can repair it and it will still work (even if the surface is scratched).
At least if this has really happened, I hope everyone learns a lesson about these kinds of things. :\
Please tell me you got the extended warranty.
Paul: I wanted the cart =(
On the plus side, he might be more receptive to selling it now.Originally Posted by DreamTR
Clearly the rom pirates are to blame for this. If more people had told him to never share the game with anyone, this would have never happened. The collectors making insulting lowball offers were only doing so in his best interest, to make sure the cart fell into the right hands. I only wish they had gotten to him sooner.
RIP Bio Force Ape
I'll still buy it!
I don't care what they say, destroying the cart wasn't even a smart way to resolve things, how about just ignoring everything or editing the thread and say you made it up. Destroying it was as childish as all of the shit going on here. I'm in a neutral position ATM. I don't know who to blame because at the core of everyone they're all responsible in some way or another. I mean, couldn't they have had some sort of decent negotiation? Damn it.
Ain't somebody gonna pay. Tiarn.
