Joe, about the Digital Press Classic 7th Edition

Is this guide still worth purchasing or is there a new Classic 8th edition coming out soon?
I don't want to splash out on the 7th edition, if there is a new Classic edition coming like beginning next year.

Typically the editions come out in august, so if you got the cash to spare I would buy the 7th edition.
