    Default NES Sealed Games Value?

I have these 51 unopened NES games that I'm preparing to sell, they are in excellent shape, some have price stickers, etc, but all are sealed and new. Can someone help me with what to ask/expect? Thanks so much!!

This time of year, who knows. I just watched a sealed Contra break $200!
It doesn't get any more serious than a Rhinocerus about to charge your ass.

Ah hehehe Well I wish I had a bunch of those

Any other estimates? I checked what was on ebay, but it's so incredibly random there, I begin to wonder if some of the prices are just arbitrary.

It completely depends on the game. You might be able to get a fair bit for some of those listed (Super Mario Bros. 2, I'd imagine) but not a lot for some others.
For sealed games, prices reflect both rarity and popularity (moreso than if they're loose). There aren't to many overly-popular games in there, so you don't necessarily have a bank roll.

I'd buy a couple of them, but I am an idiot with computers, and incredibly cheap, so you'll probably only get $25 by the end of the day

On a price list (co-authored by Mike Etler, some other guy did the price), it said that sealed in box games (except for popular games) are about 400%-600% their loose value. Big increase!

I see these doing well (may have to dig up the right buyer though)

    Castlevania III
    Dragon Warrior
    Mermaids of Atlantis
    Shingen the Ruler
    Super Mario Bros 2
    TMNT
    Zanac

Hell I'd want Castlevania 3 and Zanac! That's something considering I'm a loosey collector. I'm all about the playing not so much the collecting. I'd still like to put them two on display with my stacks of carts.

I'd pay about $20 for Solstice.

If you really want to maxmize the money you get for them, there are a few things you should do:

1.) Start with a relatively low price to induce bidding (i.e., start them at $4.99 or around there). Heck, you could start them a .01 with no reserve if you wanted (to save on listing fees), and with 50 games, you'll definitely get lots of bids.

2.) Combine shipping and state it clearly in your auction.

3.) List all of them in the same time "block" but be sure to stagger the end times by at least a minute each, so that all the snipers have time to get to your next auction. You'll have to pay .05 each to do this, but I assure you that it will more than pay for itself. 8-9pm EST is a decent timeframe to have auctions end (for better exposure).

4.) Make sure you have a clear photo of the front and back of the game (side shot is very helpful too).

5.) Do not put Buy-it-Now's on any of the auctions -- if they're too high (as many are way too high), buyers may ingore your auctions (like me); if they're too low, you'll lose potential money.

In general, lesser-rare games go for $10-30 on average, whereas rarer games will go for over $50, $75, $100 or more. The SMB 2 you have should fetch $150+ alone.

    HTH,

I've also seen them for 70 though. It's a wide range and the luck of the draw.

only castlevania 3 and smb2 from your list would likely do well. Last sealed shingen I saw went for eight bucks.
