Found another copy, and my sis is buying it for me as a Christmas gift, so I decided to throw the other one on the bay. I will pull it early if I get some nice offers for SNES/N64 demo games

Clark is awesome in your signature, I just had that movie on yesterday while I was doing my ebay packages.
Also, the $7 shipping is a great deal. Is there a flat rate box big enough to fit that or are you just taking a loss on the shipping part in order to sell it for a higher price?
As far as I know there isn't, postage will be about $14-16Originally Posted by philosophyst
I actually found 3 of these yesterday. 2 at the local game shop and 1 at blockbuster game rush.

Yeah, I had to make a box out of two of the largest USPS boxes, those big square boxes. It sure was a pain but hey, they're free and it worked fine. The brown paper method scares me because it can get ripped and then there is a chance the address would get seperated from the package. I guess if you use enough tape on the brown paper, it would be good to go.
I'd never ship it only wrapped in paper. Most people buy new games on eBay because they want them new and in new condition. This included the box. I've seen the way delivery companies treat packaged and wrapping paper just isn't going to protect the box.
I packaged it in a box slightly larger than the DDR box, and used peanuts as packing. It was still only $10.25. It's based on weight and not size I think.
Ditto, I never ship that way either as I don't want negative feedback due to postal abuse.Originally Posted by Griking
I shipped the one that I recently sold on eBay today via UPS ground. It cost $7.25
Less than 30 minutes to go...
Someone just nabbed my N64 Zelda: OOT complete for $2.25, which is half of what I paid for it

I use the scotch tape that has the string in it and I also put clear tape over the label so it doesnt get wet or anything as well as using twine. I shipped that way before and never got any complaints. It really depends on what the customer wants. I asked them at the end of auction if they want it wrapped in brown paper and stuff with insurance or in a box with no insurance, they always choose the brown paper because if anything happens to it they can claim it rather than lose out completely.Originally Posted by philosophyst
