Weekday finds - Boxing Day thru New Years Eve Eve

Horray, I get to start a new finds thread! And just to spice things up, I'm presenting my pictures in "NEGAVISION!"



I hit TRU in hopes of getting Geist for ten bucks, but unfortunately, they knew nothing about it, and coped out to saying that the sale was "for $4.99 and up, so $49.99 is part of the sale". Blech. But I did somehow find lone copies of Golden Sun 2 and Advance Wars 2, both leftovers from the original $10 game markdown, which I snatched up. And when I walked over to Best Buy, they had Geist on sale for $19.99, so I got it there alone with SSX 4, also $19.99. I figure I'll go back to TRU later in the week and see if the whole price thing's been cleared up yet and if so, just return Geist to BB.



I stopped at Goodwill for the first time this month with low expectations, and actually found a sizeable amount of NES games with sleeves. Most I already had, but I snagged Gauntlet 2 and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. And as a bonus, snagged Wedding Singer at Circuit City for five bucks.

Overall, not a bad haul.

Today, stopped by a local cash converters and picked up Twelve: Sengoku Fuushinden for PSP for US$18. Then i met up with a few friends of mine, one of whom gave me Popolocrois for psp and another gave me a copy of Pikmin for gamecube.

Best deals were at Superstore ( lots of games for XB PS2 GC GBA ) prices were 9.98 CAN on some and 2 for 9.98 on some others.

EB games had some 1.89 and up bins- some good deals to be had.

Microplay also had some really good deals.- Got both GCN internet adapters(broadband & dialup) , NEW sealed

For the Kwanzaa day of Unity, I bought Burnout 3 and Lord of the Rings: The Third Age for PS2.

I wound up getting Crime Life for Xbox for free, but I'm going to see what I can do about exchanging it for something else. Hell, anything else. Maybe for its equivellent dollar value in toilet paper or some such.

Went to a mall here in Jersey and looked around in KB and found a messload of Genesis games(all sports) so I picked up these...
-College's National Championship 2(sealed/box scrunched)
-College Slam(open/mint)
-NHL All Star Hockey '95(sealed/box scrunched)

I was going to pick up a TNN Bass game instead of the 1st one but I didn't. It came up to a total of $3.18. Not a bad deal. Any one know why the NHL All Star Hockey '95 has english and french on the front?

It's most likely from Canada - packaging has to be bilingual there.

Oh ok, i really had no idea, why it said "All Star" and "Match Des Etoiles" on it, and I just realized that it says everything in both on the back too. But not on the cart. Was this with all of themor just from Canada?
