You might want to try out this branch of CEX. A little pricey last time I went in there but there's not much else to choose from besides the limited retro sections within Gamestation & Chipsworld branches.
Thanks!
The classic gaming scene isn't very good here, I'm afraid but you should stop by Game Focus (close to the Groodge Street tube station). 5 mins from CEX, which is absolute rubbish these days...
Sony, we will NEVER forget nor forgive. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0G0LlXv-nyI
That branch of CEX is absolutely useless nowadays which is a real shame because of how good it used to be.
So I second Game Focus. Its just round the corner from that CEX. Come out of Goodge Street tube station and (I think) walk right and take the first right and it should be on the left hand side of the road.
Shame that CEX has become useless, I found many good items there in the past.
Try Chinatown, there is a bargain still to be found sometimes (I haven't been there for 3 years now, it might have changed too). Still, many Asian VCDs and DVDs to be found, and gaming figures (Ultraman and such). Sometimes the odd GB multicartridge still to be found (eg 45 in 1)
Retrogames http://www.retrogames.co.uk/ used to have a shop in London, but ring him up and you can visit for sure, expensive though.
Nice Apple Shop near Picadilly, and also a Japan shop (Which I think had to remove their gaming section, but many figurines still available).
Also have a look here just for a laugh, that is nearby: http://www.ukresistance.co.uk/2006/0...up-as-god.html
Tottenham Court Road is still the Computer street, all shops are run by Asians, you can bargain, if you like.
Everything in London is expensive, be prepared to spend saome serious bucks.
Go to Bournemouth instead and visit Video Game Centre
