Default Can anybody make me a custom TG-16 extension cord?

Here is the deal, I would really like to use my TG-16 in my living room on occasion, and I would like to have my TG-16 in my Entertainment center, with a long controller cord coming all the way to the couch. Of couse everybody that has a TG-16 knows that the controller cords are super, super short.

The thing that really sucks, is that the extensions that you can get, only add 3 feet more. So You would have to daisy chain like 6 or them together to get a distance of 20 feet. But I was thinking, rather than have some long ugly cord with 6 extensions connected to each other, could somebody just build me a custom extension cord that was like say 15 feet long?

I don't know if such a thing is possible, but if it is, and it's easy enough, and wouldn't cost a fortune, I would love to have such a cable.

I think its just a DIN connector. You could probably buy them at Radio Shack or online. For the cord itself? Im not sure, but Ive had some success using excess ethernet cable for random projects, like an RCA extension system.

Yeah you'd want male and female 8-pin DIN connectors and get some shielded cable with enough wires inside to make the connections. Something to be aware of is that there is at least two different DIN type configurations, the names of which I can't remember offhand.

I could be coerced into doing this, but you might not like the price!

    PS gimme your picture

I'll check tonight and see if I have the correct connectors... I know I have the stuff to make Duo extensions, but I'm not sure on the "biggie" TG16 ones.

I've already made one Duo extension with some Cat5, so that stuff works just fine.

Good to know as that's one of my upcoming projects.
