Never mind. Bad idea. (slaps self)
Or know someone who did? How difficult is it? What's the process & what's needed to win?Originally Posted by EBAY

Altho some negative feedbacks might be extremly undeserved i cant imagine that someone have taken the trouble and time/money to go through court just to remove a feedback.
EDIT: Fixed typo.
Kevin, are you being serious? Feedback can be subjective. Who is someone to say that someone else's experience was negative or positive? A better question, why would you want to waste everyone's time for something like this? I am sure a judge would be very understanding to you for wasting his time.
Also, i dont think there are any rules that say you cant leave negative feedback for this and that. Afaik i know you can leave negative for transaction if you want.
Once again Kev, what was your Ebay handle again?
Someone posted this as being him in another thread. The recent feedback left by sethpackard pretty much confirms itOriginally Posted by CueWarrior

I'd wager that if you filed a lawsuit against someone for negative feedback you'd either a) get laughed at b) win, and get awarded nothing. "Judgement for plaintiff in the amount of $.01, and 1 positive feedback!"
Seriously, what would you expect to win? If you own a restaurant and a customer doesn't like you food, and tells everyone how horrible you are, and you take him to court, in order to win anything you'd have to prove actual damage to your restaurant -- monetary damage, not "People don't like me!" People are allowed to have an opinion, and the ebay feedback system is how they can express their opinion on that site. The only way you would have a leg to stand on is if their feedback were explicitly libelous; i.e. you'd have to prove that what they say is false, and damaging.
"Don't buy from him" (monetary damage). "He's a liar" (slander). But you're probably right. I would not succeed. The only way you would have a leg to stand on is if their feedback were explicitly libelous
Never mind.
EDIT: the guy (griking?) who bid on my 2 auctions with a FAKE_ID(0) but did not pay should be ashmed of yourself. You're as bad as "viddiots" or "nice_reseals"

thank god, i hadnt been here in a couple days, im glad nothing changed
I was going to post a picture of a bottle of Valium or Prozac or something (implying that you need to chill the hell out and relax), but then I saw your recent feedback. Man, that sucks. Doesn't his feedback only count as one negative on your final score though? What was it before he left you all those negs? It wasn't so hot to start with. Maybe you can bid on a bunch of cheap stuff to get those negs off your first page and onto the second. Hell if I know. Good luck!
Thanks for indulging my gaming habit when I was young, Dad. You were the best. I miss you. ~David Barnes 1926-2007~
So Kev, do you respond to every positive feedback with:
Do you do this to space out your past ebay negative feedback so it's less visible?THANK YOU FOR A GREAT EXPERIENCE!!! *´¯`*•.¸ .. ¥ .. ¸.•*´¯`*• FIRST CLASS EBAY!
Slander involves oral speech, libel is the written word. But that's neither here nor there. The US court system isn't known for working quickly, especially for frivolous (in the big picture) cases. Best case scenario for you would still take 1-2 years. In the meantime, you could simply set up a new account and start over.Originally Posted by kevin_psx

Yeah.If you withdrawal the negs, I'll give you 6 positives. SETH
Sure.
I believe you Seth.
You also promised a refund that you never gave.
More likely you'll give me 6 more negatives. Lying father f[...]er.
Good gawd, Sethpackard has some attrocious feedback. 33 neutral/negative feedback for this month alone? For shame.
Don't understand why people give neutrals?
"Game arrived very quickly but does not work."
That deserves a neg-- not a neutral.

The idea of a neutral is that even though everything didn't go perfectly, it went well enough that you don't want to trash them. I leave neutrals when I am mostly satisfied with the transaction but something went wrong. A non perfect transaction does not automatically warrant a neg.Originally Posted by kevin_psx
