It was officially Spring as of March 20. How long ya going to sit on those preorders? Huh?

It doesn't get any more serious than a Rhinocerus about to charge your ass.
Um, yeah. Looks like Ms. Underdogs forgot to renew the the-underdogs.org domain name. Home of the Underdogs is now down, and it took the Superfighter home page with it.
Not to worry; I'm sure it's not a bad sign about the project or anything. (I hope they get that site up soon, though; I was about to get some work done there...)

will there be any vendors selling this at cinciclassic?
I'm confused. Isn't THIS the project's website? Did this game have another home on the Underdogs website as well?
It seems that the beggarprince.com domain now redirects to a cox.net domain, which would explain why it went back up so quickly. Just speculation, mind you.

I paid for this weeks ago and im starting to get dubious now..
Anyone heard and info about it? Its spring now and the websites not been updated since December 2005!
Has anyone tried the contact link on the page? I have not yet ordered so I do not really feel I have anything to bug them about, but I was planning on getting this game, now I am getting a little worried about what has become of the situation on the whole...
Hello, all.
On the very day that the-underdogs.org went offline, I was visiting a friend, and he requested I show him an HTML design I'd been working on. The design, stored temporarily on my hosting from the-underdogs.org, didn't show up. I got a little worried. Checking both beggarprince.com and superfighter.com yielded the same result. So, I rushed home all quick-like and upped the websites to a temporary spot on cox.net hosting. It's very stressful, having your website be down for a time (even a short time), and I apologize for how this inconvenience may have affected any of our customers.Originally Posted by Jorpho
I can understand the impatience that some of you may be feeling. I dislike your having to feel said impatience. We'll deliver Beggar Prince, sure as we promised. All those who have ordered will be sent notification e-mails at the proper time.Originally Posted by chaoticjelly
Anyone who has pre-ordered up to this point (or chooses to pre-order in the near future) is in for a treat. Waiting is a pain in the neck, but can often be worth it. We're a small company, Super Fighter Team, and we regret having to make our customers wait. Being a game buyer myself, I similarly dislike being forced to sit and wait for a game to be released. However, through the times I've had to do so, the end result is more often worth it than not.
Actually, there's been press postings added as recently as February 10th, and some retouches to the website even more recently than that. The "on-the-spot news" only reflects the largest of news items.Originally Posted by chaoticjelly
You all will have to pardon my lack of attention to this thread as of late, I've been increasingly busy with bits here and there, especially in regard to acquiring and establishing new game licenses for our company's future. There's also some exciting new developments on the horizon for our flagship title, Super Fighter, including an up-and-coming new website redesign.
I'm always happy to answer any questions regarding Beggar Prince, regardless of who you are. That's why there's an invitation to contact me directly from the Super Fighter Team website.
Thanks for your continued dedication, support & patience.

ohh, I just need $3 more in my paypal so that I can order this game...some one should buy something from my selling thread
Thanks for the post CMA Death Adder very informative, I dont mean to be rude but when IS Beggar Prince due to be shipped?
As its now Spring surely a shipping date must of been figured out....?
I'll probably want one of these at a later time. Good to see that they won't be a limited run.
I thought this was a limited run..... where did you read otherwise? I'm getting tired of waiting and if this isn't a limited run I could be using my money for other things. I preordered ages ago.
The first print run is set at 600 copies. If you'd like to call that a "limited run", I would certainly understand. There's not much profit in this endeavor, and the production cost is high. So, we can't print a large amount of copies in hopes that they mystically sell over time.
Unless any unforseen issues present themselves, we plan to begin shipping Beggar Prince just before June. In any case, all pre-order customers will receive notification just before the games begin to ship.
Any other questions are always welcome, and I'll do my best to answer them in due time.
