    Seconded! I picked up the japanese version when it rolled out because the week before a local gamestore had a demo running and it looked really sweet/interesting (....plus the intro was magically delicious) and found the unique combat system to be really well done. The language barrier wasn't even that bad for it.

    Ended up eventually picking up and playing through the US version for the storyline and loving it to bits all over again.

    I'm probably due for another playthrough sometime this year
