All the flea markets and thrifts around here resemble garage dumps as of late so I just got some stuff at gamestop. Just got a ps3 for xmas so needed some games for it. All complete and in good shape.

"This isn't life, this is a slow motion suicide."
Been too busy lately to do much thrifting, but I did make a nice little pre-Christmas find at Goodwill today...
A whole bag of Colecovision games for $6.99...even needed a few for my collection. First time I've added to my Coleco collection in a few years...God bless us all, everyone!

Tomorrow's Past is Yesterday's Future Today!
Yeah, apparently it's hollow plastic and attached to a little stand that you can't remove it from. Furthermore, to make it appear "weathered", as if it were used in batman's work, they had folks in overseas factories attacking it with xacto knives and rubbing it on sandpaper. Unfortunately, it just makes it look like shit and unintentionally damaged. Reading the Amazon reviews for the collector's edition is good for both a laugh and a facepalm.
All I found today was an electronic toy by Waco, apparently called Roulette. I don't know if it works yet, since I never seem to have the correct type of batteries on hand. It looks to be in good shape, albeit a bit dirty and with something rattling around inside it. I need to take it apart and investigate that.
The consensus seems to be that Waco was one of the earliest manufacturers of electronic toys. They also seem to all be imported from Japan.
Really? You've never heard of Roulette before?
Nothing special for awhile for me. Waiting for Christmas and more importantly, boxing day. Since I work at a second hand shop here have been more than a few things that I've been biding my time to get.
I did however pick up a copy of Oopona for the Wii. Which I haven't even bothered to play yet. Oh and Bomberman Land for the Wii, which is pretty fun.

I celebrated Christmas with my family early, so here's a rundown of what I got gaming wise:
- Nintendo DS game case (Holds 12 games, has Yoshi on it): From myself
- Nintendo DSi (Mario bundle, Metallic Blue system): From my parents
- The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (Xbox 360): From my brother-in-law
A good Christmas overall; tied closely with Christmas 2001 as the best (That being the year I got Super Smash Bros. for my N64 as well as a Game Boy Color)
So, here's Wednesday and Thursday's finds.
On Wednesday I found several things:
The seller wanted $10, he noticed I thought it was too high, but he said $5. I countered with $7. Why? These games are -brand new-. While Clouds of Xeen is kinda common (and available with the other Might and Magic games on GOG.com for like seven bucks)... World of Xeen is not. Because it's the Macintosh version. So it may be worth a few bucks.
Continuing on with Wednesday's finds:
O Brother Where Art Thou (DVD, new), Shivers The Director's Cut (DVD, cardboard case has warping - apparently this is worth a lot of money?) - $4
The Flintstones for the Genesis, CIB other than the cover art being chewed away at the top - $2
Airforce Delta (DC, mint), Punch-Out - $6 for both
Stanley Clarke - Time Exposure - $1
Desperado Soundtrack - $2
And today I got Game & Watch Gallery (Game Boy), a green PS1 memory card, and Starcraft + Brood War for $7.
Oh yeah, I took advantage of Steam's latest sale (and the fact that I was actually in the US so Steam wouldn't bitch about my IP not matching my credit card) and bought The Lucasarts Adventure Pack (Loom, The Dig, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade) and Broken Sword Twin Pack (Broken Sword 2+3), all for less than $8.
I got today:
Saturn:
-NiGHTS into Dreams... (NFR jewel case w/ manual)
NGPC:
-Samurai Shodown! 2
-SNK Vs. Capcom Card Fighters Clash! (IDK which version)
-Metal Slug: First Mission
Genesis:
-Sonic & Knuckles
Forgot how much I paid for the NGPC games individually, but they were $34 total. I know I overpaid, but that was the first time I've seen NGPC games since I got the system.
