I could be wrong and haven't even played a snes game for the last year or so until last week, but wasn't ignition factor the USA release of firemen?
Nice Proto's by the way.
Thanks once again to all of you who took time out to answer some questions about the SNES prototypes. I have decided to list both of them on ebay. When they are listed, I will post the item numbers here.
List them carefully. eBay takes them down if you are not careful.
Typically if you use the word "demo" instead of prototype there isn't a problem
Ok, but if I use the word Demo and leave out Prototype, how will people searching for protos find them??
The only problem with using the word Prototype is that the Ebay storm troopers tend to pull down auctions with this term since it is against Ebay policy to sell beta versions of games. You might want to try using the terms "Development", or "Sample", or "Demo", it is a difficult balance between keeping your listing up and having it pulled. Though I recently did see an auction use the term prototype for a Mega Man NES cart and it wasn't pulled. So you might want to just put it up using prototype and see what happens. Though from what I have seen any time the word prototype is used in the listing header the auction tends to get pulled.
