Capcom vs. SNK Pro, Love this game, I play it a LOT. I need to get the others.
SNK vs. Capcom: Match of the Millennium, really hard in the arcade edition. Chaos may have an easier mode.
Street Fighter x Tekken, dont like the graphics, but poison looks awesome. gameplay was eh.
That Project X Zone looks awesome. I might go for the import versions first since I can't play them yet..ill concentrate on the games then when the collection is complete, ill get the respective consoles if needed. Why are these so expensive?
There are two games missing from the list.
Firstly, Tatsunoko vs Capcom actually has two games, Cross Generation of Heroes, and the update, Ultimate All Stars. The first was only released in Japan, but it's noteworthy because it has different system mechanics, a character that was removed from the sequel, and character specific mini-games on Wii.
Second, you could argue that Capcom Fighting Jam/Evolution is basically Capcom vs Capcom.
If you want to really nitpick, there's also CVS2:EO, but I wouldn't include that since everything it added to CVS2 is pointless and dumb.
EO also removed roll cancels if I remember correctly, which basically makes it an entirely new game even before you get into the stupidity of specials mapped to analog sticks. Worst port of a great game.
A lot of these games are a little bit different from system to system: I don't know how granular you really want to get.
That's a whole different can of worms. From what I remember, the official line in Japan was that Poison is a post-op transsexual, but Capcom USA said she was pre-op. The current canon is that her sex is ambiguous and the mystery is part of the character's appeal.
Street Fighter X Mega Man!!
There's also the canceled Capcom Fighting All-stars, which was another Capcom vs Capcom game.
Marvel vs Capcom on the ps1 was referred to as EX edition. It, and the other ps1 vs. titles featured some strange gameplay differences on top of only allowing mirror matching tag teams.
X-men: Children of the Atom features Akuma. So does Cyberbots: Full Metal Madness.
Cammy is in Final Fight: Streetwise.
Didnt this all come up from when they had a GIRL being beaten up in Final Fight and Capcom said it was really a dude just to stop getting flack over it? So then shes really a girl who became a guy then became a girl again.
And one of the Marvel vs Capcom or Street Fighter games in Japan has this other guy in it, hes a comedian or something. Saw it in a Classic Game Room episode.

I've heard that too, but it doesn't really add up since Roxy, who is a palette swap of Poison, is still a woman.
Norimaru is a character invented solely to poke fun at comic book nerds. Marvel was not too happy about it and had him locked or removed from all versions of the game sold outside of Japan.
Oh I didnt know that about the character. Thats mean, why was he in there then to begin with? Thats mean of Capcom to do.
I guess it's just their sense of humour. I'm sure they sent Stan Lee the index finger of the dev team member responsible.
EDIT: You're right about him being based on a comedian, and his name is Noritake Kinashi. I guess he has some sort of 'otaku' shtick.
