Getting a cool 1000 achievement points in EDF 2017 was one of my best gaming moments in 2006. Has it really been so long?

Collector of 1,673 strategy guides, and BlazBlue ain't one of them.

You keep going back and forth with the stages and difficulties. Once you get a stronger rocket launcher you can go back and beat this level and once you get so much health you can go forward and beat that level. Farming certain guns and replaying the fun/easy levels for massive health drops should be nothing new to a seasoned gamer.
Heybtbm, did you ever try playing it co-op? Facing down a few hundred 20-foot tall ants in one thing, but with two guns and twice the health you can do harder stages with a few thousand spiders bounding in on you.

Online co-op would be fantastic. Not holding my breath though.

hmmm... Sandot is out. My hopes just went down.
EDIT: 3-PLAYER co-op! I just got excited again.

I'm really disappointed that this sequel is being farmed out to the Matt Hazard developer... EDF has had three entries, all by Sandlot. All the quirky "so bad it's good" Japanese style is going to get thrown out the window with a Western developer on board. If this game tries to be epic and have high end graphics...
