In case you were wondering exactly what that game is:
(I borrowed this description from racketboy.com's of the holy grails of game collecting article.)
The only game released by the company “MenAvision” (clever), Air Raid is quickly gaining the notoriety it needs to become the Holy Grail of Atari collecting. Two of the most recent sales have reached over $3000, and for the loose cartridge alone.
The game itself is a standard shooter along the lines of Space Invaders. Much like that Taito classic, in Air Raid you’re tasked with defending endangered buildings from rapidly lowering space menaces, the primary gameplay difference being that your ship is above and not below said buildings.
Air Raid’s cartridge is perhaps the strangest looking for the 2600, disregarding the need for a title and having both a handle and a sky-blue finish. its this unique image that is likely to remain at the forefront of a collector’s thoughts, driving the desire to find it extremely high.
its unknown exactly how many copies were printed, but Air Raid’s rarity suggests that it may have seen the most limited production run of any commercially released Atari 2600 title.

OOH. You made me remember something I have for the 2600!
Not a recent find (a few years back now), but I have this beast. It's not in the DP rarity guide?
Judging by the label art, it involves A football game between the eagles and the steelers, an american indian riding a jet plane, a black stereotype circus performer, and a griffin protecting a pot of gold. Huh?
I found the box art. Epic.
Oooooh, nice. Y'know that's an R9 according to Atariage?

Game Hunting.
Hit a few Garage Sales and didn't come up with anything.
Went to the Flea Market...
Stepped into a flea market of disgruntled, pissed off vendors.
Aparently they were just told that the fees went up to more then double..(also not good news for me)
The first vendor I hit was bailing out..Pissed off at the raised fees,Ranting about it out loud to other vendors.,..he had this Nintendo stuff, piled in a big tangled wire mess...
$61.00.......($20 each system)
the extra dollar was for the Advantage Joystick as he really wanted $5.00 for it seperatly.
I don't feel I got an excellent deal on the stuff but if it was found by another vendor he'd put out the NES for $50.00,the SNES for $40.00-45 and the Top Loader for $60-80.00
I've always wanted to get my wife a new bike, similar to her old bike.. The biggest thing the vendor had was a bike and he didn't want to take it back with him...It was dusty but looked brand new,It had a $50.00 price tag on it..Everything was loose on the bike as if it was just taken out of the box and thrown together. The tires needed air and don't have a sign of use to them.
Taking a chance I asked if he'd go lower and he said,to take it for $30.00..
I offered $20.00 jokingly and he said yes..
So I finnally got my wife a bike,..got it home, tightened everything up,forgot to tighten the seat and she took it for a ride.
Coincidentally looking at old pictures last night of my wife on her old bike this is the same named bike she used to have.
Otherwise the place was bone dry, nothing but loose Xbox systems..$50.00+
My dad picked up these two Boomerangs from Australia for 5.00
