No, it wont make a PAL machine run in 60Hz. It wont even make it play any game you want. Rougly 95% of the games will work though.
So if I want to play NES games in 60hz do I have to buy a US or JP console??
i'd say less than 95% probably more like 70% without probs, some games do have issues
yes buy an american top loder, that one is region-free or buy an american toaster and do the mod.. then buy a copy of gyromite from the states, one of the heavier ones and wreck it for a 72>60 pin adaptor to play the japanese games
allternativly buy a famicom with a 60>72 pin adaptor, that way you can play famicom games properly and take advantage of the extra sound chips/graphics some games had
