this thread is a great concept...i dont know how effective it has been, but a neat idea!

i understand this stuffs quirky, so any ballpark guess would be appreciated!

5 unused AGCI (nes) game carts...shell, board, no chips

atari 2600 controller tester - i know at least one other person on the boards has this, just wondering what they go for?

roll of 'authorized atari service center' stickers. this is more of a novelty im sure, but has anyone seen these sold before? they are silver and have the address of the service place on them.

game gear bubble gum? i suppose this would be more appealing to a straight game gear collector, but ive not seen one for sale before...just your run of the mill gum in a plastic game gear shaped container.

space channel 5 planet dance music sampler - has sega dreamcast and logo on it, and has several club tunes on the cd. ive never seen one of these...not sure if its rare or what?

i've got two semi-rare items.. anyone have a ballpark idea of their value? one's the saturn rayman demo with insert. the insert has both psx/saturn controller configs and $5 coupon. the other is the saturn cleaning kit complete with everything. it didnt ship with a cover for the CD as the instructions are on the back of it.

Hi guys, I just acquired a little gem of a system.

In the local paper someone was selling a boxed NES console with Mario 3, so I went to check it out, and it turns out it's factory sealed and in absolutely perfect condition Mario 3 Bundle system. There's not even a crease on the box.

Now, I've not seen a sealed one of those since they were launched.

What sort of price would I be looking for if I decided to sell it?

I have a CIB copy of Mario Bros. Arcade Classics that I am interested in some information about. Here's some pictures of it's condition and the like:

Complete mint copies like that are selling on ebay for about £15 - £25 a pop... looks purdy... If you wanna sell it, gimme a shout, I'd pay £15 & Postage for it.

Tank Brigade (Atari 2600) - It is brand new, but there is no shrinkwrap on it, How i can tell that is is new is because you can't close the box if you opened it (The box doesn't have tabs to close it, it's just glued)

Also what would two Xbox 360 Every 10 Minutes signs go for? They aren't displays that go in a store; They were made to be put in a parking lot on a lamppost.

Wondering about the value of an item I fould while cleaning out my closet today.

It's a Zelda Orcarina of Time promo shirt that was given away to people that preordered the gold edition of the game at electronics botique. I got this (along with a golden bag and some stickers) when I picked up the game on day of release.

There's 2 sealed on Ebay right now. One's buy it now for 100 bucks and the other will end in 6 days. You can watch that one to see what kind of interest there is in.

I'm pretty sure the Atari controller testers go for $150-300. I foolishly overpaid for mine. I assumed it was worth quite a bit because the NES and SNES ones go for quite a bit. Mine is in nice shape though. Many of them are missing the directions or have burnt out light bulbs.

hmmm i think i kinda liked it better when price checks where in the clasic gaming forum. seems like a lot of peoples requests get looked over quickly because of so many posts. And who wants to dig through all these posts?
in my opinion i think it would work out great if there was just a whole other group of forums, and not just a thread for everything. that way everyone could have their own price check threads and no one would even have to open them if they didnt have an idea on the value. but thats just my two cents :/

Depending on a couple of factors, this game could be worth anywhere between $5 and $50, but being sealed, it's probably more into the $25 - $30 range. I'd be weary of gambling on it if it's not too cheap, because the King's Quest collection (with all 7 episodes) appears to have been re-released recently.

That rerelease is nothing but certain versions of the games with DOSBox. They don't have voices or anything, it's just the standard floppy versions, so they're, ahem, worthless to many of us.

Anyway. I have two of these. Sealed.

just had an offer to buy a "this is cool" skeleton saturn system for $90 + $25 shipping so a total of $115. its used but CIB and looks fine with all the wires ect. there 2 misc. common games and an action reply cart thrown in as well. i've seen these things go for 200+ and at least $140 + shipping so i am assumeing this is a pretty good deal. seeing as i'm really tight on cash right now i'm hesitant to take the offer so i was wondering what you guys think. this to good to pass up?

Hi,
I am new on this board and didn't know where to put this, but I was wondering what a TG16 with all conectors, one paddle, 5 games:
Double Dungeons
Bonks Revenge
Victory Run
Keith Courage in Alpha Zones
Splatter House
and an extension cable for the paddle would be worth. If some one knows that would be great because I have it posted on another board and not sure what a good offer would be for it. I was also thinking of posting it here.
Thank you

I would say your current offer of 80 bucks at Atari Age, that other board most of us happen to frequent, is as good as it's going to get. Here is a breakdown, bear in mind when you sell as a lot people expect to pay a little less per piece:

Double Dungeons: $5-8
Bonks Revenge: $10
Victory Run: $5
Keith Courage in Alpha Zones: $0.01
Splatter House: $15-20
TG-16 system w/ hookups and 1 controller: $35
Extension cable: $3-5

If you want more go to ebay and stop trying to squeeze blood from a rock.

Since you're asking again I'll put up a guess (but this is just a guess)...the Panda carts are a little more common than they seemed to be years ago when the latest collector's guide came out, but you don't see them boxed very much. If the box is in new condition I'd say $150 on the low end. It could be worth a lot more than that, but I doubt any less.

I have come into possession of a sealed Spiderman: Web of Fire for the Sega 32X. The only flaw is the shrink has a tear on the bottom flap, but it is obvious that this has never been opened and is factory sealed with no other flaws. I know this detracts from the value a bit, but what would you think it is worth considering these are so hard to come by anyway?

12-06-2006, 04:48 PM
I'll try to answer as many of these more recent ones as I can. Here goes:

Daria: The numbered LE Counterstrike your friend has is merely the same as a regular Counterstrike. GameStop handed out numbered inserts at a certain point as part of a preorder deal. I would estimate it to be worth in the $12-$15 range.

hindsr1976: Bratwurst hit it right on the money :) .

Cambot: It looks to be in pretty decent shape. However, it's not much in demand... I'd estimate it to be in the $6-$8 range.

7th_lutz: It's not as overpriced as that guide would indicate, though they usually go for around $12-$17 complete.

h1qual1ty: Your question's a good one, but here's my estimates, assuming they're first and foremost genuine, as well as without box-crushing and holes in the plastic... Blaster Master = $20-$30, Donkey Kong Classics = $110-$140, Excitebike = $130-$160, Golf = $20-$30, Metroid = $120-$150.

Speedy_NES: Another good question... I'd say a sealed Death Race should be able to bring around $180-$240...

digitalpress: Mortal Kombat II...that one's a pricey one. If it lacks the spine card, that one's good for about $75-$90. With the spine card, it's good for $85-$105. As for Hokuto no Ken, that one goes in the $33-$42 range without the spine ($40-$50 with the spine). Neither game is easy to come across...

jpark203: Saturn Bomberman, around $30-$35. Guardian Heroes seems to trade fairly close to the $50-$55 range. Project Justice...I saw where you said you'd paid $30 for it. Compared to what I sold two copies for a few months back, you did fairly well (as I sold those two for $50 and $47), but nowadays, they've settled into the $35-$45 range for the most part.

secretvampire: You are more than correct; a sealed Spiderman: Web of Fire is ridiculously hard to come by. If I were you, even with the condition flaw noted, I'd sell that for no less than $300 (and possibly as high as $350). How'd you get a hold of it, anyway?

Jimmy_Yakapucci: Skeleton Saturn controllers are hard to come by... I'd say you did fairly well if you gave any less than $35 for the pair. Pretty sharp-looking controllers, too, btw.

Hopefully, we'll see a few more posts, besides any you may see from me to get these pricing and value questions answered :) .

Super Vision carts can actually hit high amount ($20 - $30). Price also depends if its a multicart or just one game on it. Dont know how much the value will drop when the label is damaged. It depends which one you have. Based on eBay it ranges form $35 to $60. The $60 auction was for volume 4. I expect it would drop as more of them hit eBay. On average I would say these are worth $25 to $40

The last two times I've won some Emerson Arcadia games they've come to me in boxes that look to be about 24 years old with printing on them indicating that these were the original shipping boxes in which the system/games came.

Are these worth something to anybody? I'm eventually going to sell these games (after I chronogame them) and want to know if I should make a big deal out of having the original shipping boxes (and include them in my estimation of the set's worth) or if I should just include them as a inconsequential "bonus" of sorts.

I found a really nice CIB Atari XE at goodwill, but I balked when I saw the price tag of $49.99. Does this warrant such a price?

Okay.

Complete, BOXED, practically MINT Miracle Piano Teaching System for the NES. The system and documents are all there. The box is all beat up, but it's there.

I need a price check.

How much would a complete NEW (but not sealed since SFC games never came sealed) copy of Lennus 2 be worth?

Also, the last Spiderman web of fire sealed that went on ebay ended at about $250 and I dont remember it having any tears at all, will try to dig around for the auction. With a little tear, I would say $225. Still ridiculously rare but because it is Sega, the sealed aspect does not raise the value TOO much.

Is there any value to "not for resale" carts? I have a whole bunch, including Zelda Minish Cap and Wario Ware for GBA. It seems that Minish Cap has become incredibly hard to find (from what I hear) at retail. Anyone know if these have any demand?

Someone just mentioned a price for Minish Cap NFR cart on this page in fact. I would agree it is around $35 to $45 with potential to raise in time as Minish Cap gets harder to find. Wario is probably worth $15 or so. Most NFR carts for the GBA arent worth TOO much.
Now, the DS NFR carts, on the other hand, are worth good money for the more desirable titles (IE, kirby canvas curse, mario kart ds, castlevania dawn of sorrow etc)

I have a Display Thing for the SNES, just wondering if it has a value?

I paid $30, I figure it was still cool to get.
