Got a boxed 32x with all cords/parts/dongles + a boxed Star Wars Arcade in trade for a dreamcast (which I bought at a thrift for $10).


Also got Cybernoid and To the Earth CIB today. Damn are these ever minty. Best condition I've ever seen on To the Earth's box. Not even that middle "pull-up crease" that I always seem to get in the middle of the tab when opeing the box up.

Oh really? That must be a European thing. Here in North America, only the Famicom Micro doesn't have switchable faceplates, the other two models do have faceplates and those are the only run I'm seen (so far).

There are 2 different models in the US. My local Target is still carrying the ones that have the removable faceplate, while my local Wal-Mart has the ones without the removable faceplate. There is a difference in price also. Theolder model is at $70 while the newer is $50. I am currently using one from Wal-Mart that has the black, non-removable faceplate.

All stars became a pack-in later on in the SNES's life. Then another pack in, "Super Mario All Stars+ Super Mario World" replaced that. The pack in with mario world in the same cart is difficult to find.

As far as that sticker, I believe you could mail-off for a copy of All stars.

i know for a fact that the snes box with the mario allstars sticker came with all stars inside the box, thats how mine came when i got it when i was a kid

found these amongst the CDs and VHS tapes at a goodwill:

IMB PC ultima trilogy and ultima the second trilogy by origin, wizardry-proving grounds, knight of diamonds, legacy of llylgamyn and bane of the cosmic forge. also, the official book of ultima.

all of the games are complete and were kept in great shape. bane of the cosmic forge has 2 copies of the playmaster's guide; one has page numbers on the outside corners of the pages, one has them in the inside corners. there are also 2 sets of the 3.5" and 5.25" disks; one of each set has "new" written on the label (3.5") and the disk sleeve (5.25").

the 3 smaller wizardry games were $1.99, the ultima games and bane of the cosmic forge were $2.99. the book was $.49.

I picked up a CD I saw yesterday: Wacky Races... which makes no sense at all. Why? Well, all I can find is information regarding a Japanese 3DO version of the game, while the copy I have is sealed, and apparently for Windows... This is NOT the Dreamcast game, though. I'll try to take pictures in a while.

I also got an RF modulator thing. I wasn't really paying attention but it has four S-Video and RCA inputs, and two outputs. o_O It cost me two bucks! I was hoping to find something like this, woo!

PSX system with several controlers in box - FREE! It was on a pile of junk with a sign next to it that said "Free, take what you want" and so I did. O_o Not sure what I'll do with a 4th system though.

Perfect Dark, Grand Theft Auto Vice City, Devil May Cry, and Resident Evil Code Veronica Hintbooks - all for $1.00. As well as two PSM Magazine Demo discs.

PSX Castlevania Symphony of the Night (Greatest Hits) and Power Shovel - $2.00 each. Power Shovel is a very interesting quirky Japanese game that I never heard of before. Recommended if you are a fan of all things Japanese.

Also managed to get a large shopping bag full of mid 1980s 45s with Sleeves for $5.00, a bag of about 100 Homies for $3.00, several cheap cds/VHS/DVDs, a few 80s concert t-shirts for 10 cents each, and a few cartoon related toys like Xmen, Transformers, Kim Possible, for my personal collection. Oh, 3 Rubik Cube related toys, a Snake, Orb and Megaminx for $1.00. A small haul, but it was a very fun weekend.

From a local store, I picked up two NES games:

- Bandit Kings of Ancient China
- L'Empereur

Keeping with my unusual ability to always run into boxed copies of Koei NES games (I must have 5 or 6 of them by now), both games include their box. However, Bandit Kings is missing the manual (the map is there), and L'Empereur is missing just the map.

I paid $15 each, which is more than I normally pay for NES games, but I make exceptions when those games are nice-quality, mostly-complete R5+ ones... ;)

Anyone want to sell me a L'Empereur map or Bandit Kings manual? :)

Well, the retards that run my PMB place RETURNED the package because it didn't have the PMB number, so the seller and I spent two weeks trying to figure out what to do. The package arrived back at his place last saturday, and he resent it on monday. And I got it today.

The seller included a Metal Gear Solid strategy guide for free to make up for the huge delay.

So now I want MGS2 and 3... anyone? :)

He asked if I was interested because he'd never heard of it. Naturally, my curiosity was piqued. So I get there and I'm discouraged because she said it was just a Super Nintendo, but she insisted I was welcome to go up to the attic and look at it if I wanted. Figured it couldn't hurt, maybe some good games.

Anyway... long story short, she had an SNES kiosk set that she purchased a few years back but never played any more. It's certainly not mint, very dusty, the bottom of the SNES is yellowing, the plastic cover and controller arms are missing... but the light, the monitor, and the system works great.

I don't have pics because I'm at my parents' house, but I picked up that and seven nondescript games for $50 after talking her down. Good deal?

I picked up an XBox Kiosk for $100. Nice shape, though I may want to get some new controllers for it, as these ones are a little bit tatty. But still and all, its in decent condition, and works great. It's gonna look great in my game room.

By the way, the local craigslist here has one of those SNES kiosk things for $225, so I'd say you did just fine!

Yeah, the wait for Odin Sphere is killing me too. It plays differently, but if you're looking for other games developed by Vanillaware, check out GrimGrimoire which is slated for a late June release from Nippon Ichi. It's going to be a unique game to say the least. Also sprite based, it's supposed to be a real-time strategy RPG. I don't know how it's going to work out, but I'm hoping for the best.

Looks to be factory sealed but I never had an N64 before so I don't know how the wrap is supposed to look. Anyone know what I should look for? Box is in excellent shape, and theres only a slight movement when I tilt the box, like the cart is in a SNES type tray.

One of the directors at my company called me this morning to tell me he found a Sega Master system at a yard sale and about 14 games for $25 and asked if he wanted me to pick it up. I said "sure!" We'll see what games it has. I have a Master System, but I can always sell one and keep the better of the two plus the games.

RC Truck $30.00 with Battery Charger and Controller..Now the Controller is not the exact one it originally came with but the guy let me test the truck out there and it works great..

Passed up a very expensive RC buggy with a spare body..Had no battery and the lady didn't know if it worked..$65.00 as is..
It was well worth that..Though I'm into RC vehicles I just could not see spending $65.00 on it AS IS..this lady has sold me junk before..When someone tells me as is I get spooked..Several people looked at the vehicle and when she said as is they walked away..
I saw the coolest Hot Wheels Go Kart with a Real Gas motor in it.(it looked electric)..It ran and the seller was going to let my Son test it out.(If I had fit in it I would of drove it)
$200.00 ..I would of bought it if I had a place for my Son to ride it..
